Tali’s Bagels and Schmears

Best Bagels on Oahu, without any close competition. I grew up in NJ where bagels are a religion, and had sort of given up on the idea of having a good bagel since I've lived in Honolulu. But I went to Tali's for the first time today and Holy S--t! The bagels are fresh, with a perfect bite and chew. The inside is light and full of real bagel flavor. The outside has that medium level of resistance that makes biting into a bagel so rewarding. The cream cheese schmears are delicious and spreadable. I also hit the OG lox sandwich that was so good, I think I cried a little. On top of al of that, the 2 people working there were so nice and helpful! Highly recommend!!!!!

Hands down the best bagel in Hawaii. Everything bagel is crunchy and chewy. Literally on my way there now.

This is the real deal. Finally legitimate bagels in Honolulu. I've lived and worked in New York most of my life, my wife is Jewish and grew up in Brooklyn and Queens. I've been obsessed with finding good "real" bagels since moving to Hawaii 32 years ago. The best ones I could get were ones that I made, after lots of trial and error, and they still were just ok. Well my search is over. Tali's is it. GREAT bagels. I cannot rave enough, and believe me, I know bagels. Thank you. Dennis from Mililani

hard to find fresh bagels in oahu… so i had high hopes. unfortunately its just OK. nothing extraordinary. only sweet shmear was ube, and it was bit chalky and bland imo. i think most get the bagel sandwiches, but to me thats not where bagels shine. 7 bucks for a bagel and spread??? not a good value

At 9am I had 3 options for this bagel shop. Unfortunately my everything bagel was salty. Not typical savory, egregiously salty. While it's nice to see the crowds died down on this place, it may be a sign of the obvious.

This place is for the birds. And anyone else who loves a perfectly baked and prepared bagel on occasion. Best bagels on Oahu! Get the BEC local style with Portuguese sausage. If they have them, get the ube bagel too!

Very delicious.
It's a quiet place in the ward, but there are a lot of customers. I also heard that the items will be sold out in the morning.
The bagel is very chewy and has a good texture, which is perfect. It goes well with both sandwiches and cream.
The staff are also bright and kind.
This is a store I would like to visit again.

Recently picked up a couple of BEC bagels and they were so hard to bite and chew. I’m assuming the bagels were old. Not what I was expecting after reading so many great reviews. I love support local businesses but we won’t be returning here.

Tali's Bagels and Schmear is a must visit in Ward Village! This morning we went because we have been craving New York Style Bagels and Tali's absolutely is the best!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! And they even have a sitting area too! Parking was super easy too. They have so many bagels with a variety of different cream cheeses too! We can't wait to go back to Tali's for another NY Bagel!! Keep up the amazing work and continue to be awesome!!
