The service here is top-notch! The whole team of staff are warm, approachable and super attentive throughout my entire meal. All dishes are served out swiftly without long waiting time, and every staff member greets guests sincerely, making us feel warmly welcomed and comfortable the whole time.

Tried here for Ramen and soft shell crab bun,rather small and pricey bun. Ramen okay.

I ordered the Pork Katsu Curry Don and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The crispy breaded pork cutlet was perfectly cooked, with a crunchy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside. It was topped with a rich and flavorful Japanese curry sauce that paired wonderfully with the soft, freshly steamed rice. The combination of textures and flavors made the dish incredibly satisfying and memorable.

I really recommend getting their tanaka spicy miso if you're in the mood for rich, creamy flavours with a hint of spiciness. With a savoury miso foundation, a silky broth, and a moderate level of spice that won't overwhelm your palate, it offers a perfectly balanced taste profile in every bite.

The spicy ramen was nice and spicy with good flavor. The gyoza was cooked to perfection and flavorful.

You can find this on the second level of the Ala Moana Center, like on the same floor level as Shabuya.

The ramen and the fried rice selections are great. You can customize your ramen, according to the ramen, but they do have some top notch signature menu items. They also serve alcoholic chu-his and beers here along with sodas and water.

I stopped by this lovely restaurant right after finishing work, and their tanaka classic was absolutely satisfying beyond words. The slow-simmered bone broth is thick, aromatic and full of deep umami flavor, paired with melt-in-your-mouth tender braised pork slices that taste incredibly authentic.

If you enjoy servers slamming your drinks and bowls on to the table, then I’d suggest this place. Whole staff was rude and arrogant. I’d recommend the Pearlridge location.
