Ordered the lunch special which included pork gyoza, rich garlic ramen and a drink (I selected oolong tea). In addition, ordered takoyaki, which made my life, so delicious.I made mine level 2 spicy and I lowkey wish I just did level 1, it was pretty spicy and I usually can handle it.

Was looking for a place close to hotel for dinner and found this place. It is located in the Aloha shopping center which made it a little challenging to find. Unassuming entrance, but the food was great. Got the Tanaka spicy with house hot sake.

The food here gave us e. coli. We had to go to a hospital and report the outbreak to cdcWe found out because we all had stomachache right after eating. The staff are lazy and plays on their phones.

Our second time and everything is perfect..again. The food was amazing as per usual (ramen,gyoza yuzu),Devon, Wen Jie, Reed personally ensured our night would be fantastic. From offering pictures, drink referrals, and even the small talk. My mom was visiting the island and they made her feel the Hawaii hospitality times a million. We'll be regulars even though we live all the way in Kailua

All good. $20 for Classic ramen but noodles too thick for me, and broth a 7. Also 4 small gyoza that is decent. Lastly, a drink. Ordered green tea and received a Itoen green tea in a can. After just returning from Japan, this is overpriced by $12 but it's ok for Ala Moana. I won't crave it since service was meh, but it's just ok.

Menu given was run down... Practically falling apart almost nasty to touch I should have taken a photo of it. Tried their Tanaka Classic ramen... It was bland with no richness of flavor. Disappointed, the ramen looked good when served.

Nice, funky Cafe style venue, with cordial, friendly, & professional staff. Unfortunately, the Classic Ramen was underwhelming in portion & taste compared to the dozens of other ramen bowls I've gave tasted in past . (Perhaps I was expecting too much after than reading the front window.) Will definitely return to give it another try.
