Authentic Baja style tacos. Best in Honolulu!

This is not quality. If you know Mexican food don’t expect this to meet your expectations. The tacos are tiny and expensive. There is no flavor in the guacamole or salsa. We gave it a try, won’t be going back.
Great food. Reasonable price, for here. Quick service. We'll return

As much as I'd like to support my local restaurants, it's just too disappointing each time. We have money. So we don't mind paying their prices, but we should get what we pay for. Extra small tacos, one tortilla instead of 2 (I've never experienced this anywhere), and mediocre flavor. If they only added another tortilla, I'd be more willing to support them on a regular basis. But just like the majority of Hawaiian restaurants, food is small in size, overpriced, mediocre, and so not worth the money. Keeps us cooking at home instead.

The best tacos I've had yet in Honolulu, where good Mexican food is hard to come by. Definitely on the expensive end, but the flavors were pretty good. In particular enjoyed the chicken mole, the street corn elote, and the al pastor. We didn't try any tortas but those looked great- would come back to try those but probably not get more tacos. I think it might satisfy your craving though!

Best tacos al pastor and guac I have ever had! Portion size is great, each taco is so loaded with goodness it is filling! And the elote was YUMMY! Great place, and amazing, charming staff! So personable, and kind! Spiciest salsa was so good it burned twice! Music was on point, Rock en Español one time, rancheras and baladas another.
Will visit again and again and again, and recommend!
Vegetarian options: We had the elote (vegan option available!) with mayo. All tacos, burritos, etc have vegetarian options.

Ordered 3 tacos (al pastor, carnitas, carne asada) and a sincronizada for two people. Everything was really good, the al pastor was my favorite, restaurant was clean. The employees were nice and will definitely be back.

Great taste! It's hard to believe it's fast food, each dish has a strong flavor. If it became a proper restaurant, it would be fine to keep the taste as it is. It was delicious! The service is just non-existent. (laughs) But enough!

The food was terrible and very expensive. I asked for crunchy tacos, the guy was kind, but said, we don't have that, we are authentic only. I understood what he was saying as I have had this type of conversation before and authentic mexican food does not include a crunchy taco. I proceeded to order street size tacos, one chicken mole, the pastor and the Birria. I accidentally order the Birria (miscommunication), a small serving of refried beans (mine are authentic and much better) their chips are very heavy/thick, no flavor and a Modelo beer (beer was the best part). When the food came, I couldn't tell which one was the beef, the chicken or the pork, they were all a dark brown, same as the chicken mole taco. I've had authentic before, this was terrible tasting. Plus, he started sweeping and mopping as I was eating. The bill and 20% tip was $47! The other reviewer was correct, no atmosphere whatsoever. I don't mind paying premium for GOOD authentic food, but this made me so aggrevated, I haven't stopped complaining, so I decided to review. Also, I am sick of tipping before I have received any service or seen how a restaurant treats me, so stop with the tip request upon paying at a counter (no table service). Even the pagers they give out were dirty looking...ewww! I won't be back and I love authentic Mexican food.

Vegetarian options: Tacos de rajas y tacos de mushrooms
Wheelchair accessibility: Thu20240530. There's a ramp from the street to the restaurant and it's on the first floor. The doors are not automatic so someone needs to open them for people in wheelchairs. -MarianaFV☯️
