One of the worse places to have Mexican food. Ordered Chicken quesaeilla and got two small pieces of chicken wraps. Ordered chips and hot salsas got spaghetti sauce with Chilli oil on the side. Terrible.

My partner and I had extremely high hopes walking into this place! We read the reviews, we looked at the pictures, we were ready to experience some great tacos. Unfortunately, we did not. We ordered over half the tacos on the menu, and every single one lacked flavor. We found most flavor in the pineapple or lime that was topped on the tacos. The tacos are TINY! For $5. You are not getting what you pay for. Typically birria tacos are extremely flavorful and somehow this place made them the least flavorful tacos. The elolte wasn’t grilled, the cocktails had barely any alcohol, and I want to stress again, the tacos are extremely plain, dry, and flavorless. So many better places just on this Island to get better tacos for a better price. The lady at the register was very mono-tone. Not friendly at all but not particularly mean. And the place was not very clean. We travel for good food, and if you’re looking for it too, it’s not here. We will stick to Tio’a Tamales for better Mexican food.

its clean with good staff and vibe. i just wish their food lived up to the hype… i ordered a trio, cow+pig+shrimp tacos. at 19bucks, i was ready for awesome since that was the most i have ever paid for three tiny tacos… thats fine, its hawaii and things are expensive, and i have no right to judge based on price alone… but its so bland, their salsa bland… is it catering to the swanky gringo pallet?? hmmm maybe its just me. i do have to admit that hawaii is seriously lacking on mex options so i will come back if cravings hit. but if you are taco aficionados, its not a place for you. i thinks kids will dig it.

The restaurant's menu has excellent potential for a healthier dish approach. However, the prices for some of their items do not seem to match the quality of the presentation and packaging for takeout. Despite this, the restaurant's offerings are still worth exploring as they may have some hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

Horrible experience . One of the girls up at the front was being extremely racist. She ignored me when I asked for 2 things at first then only gave me one of the items. Aside from that she gave me a hard time when I went back and asked if she could give me a side of beans they put on top of tacos. She obviously had a problem with me but not sure why as she wasn’t even the one that took my order. Honestly she shouldn’t be working there if she can’t provide quality customer service.Parking: Had to park elsewhere

The pork carnitas taco tasted flawless but was a bit expensive at $5, in keeping with the rest of their seemingly overpriced menu. The service I received was so-so, with the lady being communicative but not necessarily in the most professional tone. The ambiance is also so-so, with interesting decor but certainly a bit minimalistic.

Tacos are a little on the small side for the price, however they were delicious.

Loved the Mah Mahi taco! Also loved the great guac. Outdoor seating was extremely pleasant and it's in a nice part of Honolulu.

I loved this taqueria in Kailua when I tried it on my last trip. Unfortunately it was so greasy at this Ward location (across from Merrimans) I would not return. I ordered the flour quesadilla concoction (has a fancy name) with al pastor. The grease came through the top go container and onto the carry out bag (pictured). Such a shame because the pineapple and pork were delicious. I tried all three salsas and the medium and hot were mostly oil- I had to use a fork to scoop out the chili's. The green salsa is delicious (definitely the best salsa I've had on the island). Ample seating (indoor and outdoor), but it's overpriced and as I mentioned above did not meet the expectations of the Kailua location.

Really tasty food, the guacamole was fresh and bright and the spices on the chicken mole were really delicious.
