Super busy @ 9:30am with lots of people planting for too long with laptops. Not enough space to sit but it’s a local love

Convenient location, energizing atmosphere, staff needs training on manners and etiquette: simple things like good morning/afternoon, thank you, your welcome, and eye contact go a long way. If a customer says thank you, a simple your welcome would suffice. Not acknowledging the custom and continuing your conversation about your boyfriends and who is sleeping with whom demonstrates a lack of care/consideration.

My husband takes their signature drink to go, while I try their pour overs at their table. The staff taking our order never rushes their customers even if there is a 6:30am line. After coming here a handful of times, I think I prefer their iced latte drinks over their hot lattes. We usually grab a coffee cake too! -- A solid option in the neighborhood and you can see your delicious coffee being prepared. No wifi but people still have the opportunity to read or do some writing on their laptops. The place is kept clean. It does get a little loud so find yourself a spot on the high top table.

Every visit to the Curb is a special treat. I always order the Vog- which is one of my favorite drinks- and the Curb has completely mastered it. Not to mention that it's perfect EVERY time I've gone there. I also love their little pastries, and the fact that they're dog friendly. Highly recommend!

Loved the ambience - it gets popular and I can see why. Great for working/reading at, with large windows to let in sunlight.
Flat white/latte with Olympia Coffee's Sweetheart - 3.5 stars
Decent medium roast but I personally prefer light roasts.

The vibes and staff were amazing here, and their espresso drinks were great. I saw so many good reviews for the matcha so I got a large matcha latte w lavender syrup, but in full honestly, it was pretty bad.
I knew something was off when I saw the color of the matcha because it was a pale green, but I tried to overlook it bc maybe it was my fault for not ordering the double matcha version. But while watching the staff prepare the matcha I noticed that they seemed to use the same amount of matcha for the 16 and 20oz??? This would obviously make a difference in the concentration and make the 20oz more bland.
Also, the lavender syrup tasted really weird imo compared to different cafes I’ve been to. It seemed bitter like I was eating grass but also overly sweet.
I’ve had my fair share of bad matcha at places like blank street but I’ve always managed to finish it, but the matcha here was almost repulsive and I couldn’t get past a few sips.
My mom got a latte here and it was amazing, but for the matcha fans just be aware.

Quite literally a business that is Keeping it Kaimukī. If you are trying to plug into local culture, start here. Coffee Shop turns into Wine Bar — fun events and themed nights. Everyone is here. If you’re not, reconsider.

My partner and I walked to The Curb Kaimuki for a matcha and pandan latte. The drinks were delicious! We also got the black sesame rice crispy treat, which tasted dull. We would still come back again as this is an Asian-owned, queer cafe.

I had the lavender matcha with oat milk. It’s extremely smooth and didn’t leave the nasty after taste that Starbucks oat milk matcha does. I do think it could use a stronger lavender flavor, but I generally enjoyed it. Not the best matcha on island, but it’s something I would get again. I liked the atmosphere of the café and the mason jar cup was a nice touch. There’s a decent amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. Parking is primarily on the street, as the lot is small, but it’s not too difficult to find a spot by the housing.
