This place is probably better in the morning, but it isn’t great in the evening. Came here at 7. I stood at the counter for about five minutes while they ignored me. When they finally came to take my order they said they don’t do lattes in the evening, so I had to modify my order to one bullet coffee and one black coffee with no milk. They messed up the order and I had to wait another 5 minutes for them to fix it. All in all, to get a black coffee and a latte I was here for over 20 minutes (with no line at all). Recommend going in the morning or elsewhere.

We stopped in for a couple iced coffees.
The staff was not very friendly, we had to send our coffees back twice to be corrected, These were just iced vanilla lattes, nothing fancy but the staff seemed bothered by the request to get what ordered but at $7.50 a coffee we wanted it done right. We won’t return.

The Sunrise Shack… what a great way to start the day. Love the vibes!! I ordered coffee and a small tropical bowl: Mango, pineapple, banana, coconut milk, dates; topped with pineapple, pitaya sauce, granola, coconut flakes, honey. Delicious!! Fresh and flavorful. Great service!! The line was pretty long, but as expected. I suggest looking at the menu online so you have an idea of what to order and that you don’t hold up the line. 😊 Be efficient and enjoy the beautiful day and your order either at their outdoor seating or on the beach!!

During our stay at Waikiki Beach, the sunrise shack was our go to coffee stop. They have very good variety of drinks and food. Highly recommend them.

think the sunrise shack is an overall good standard staple you can get breakfast or a quick snack at. My wife liked her meal, Monkey Toast and coffee, both pretty good. My açaí bowl had a left a lot to desired. Large frozen chunks, not a ton of toppings on it kind of made it boring and hard to eat. It tasted good but that isn’t everything. We went to the Waikīkī beach location and they were slammed so it maybe that’s why. I do love their merch and sticker selection! Easily could make great souvenirs.

I had breakfast almost everyday here. It was great after my run. I also ordered sandwiches to take during my conference and it was delicious. I do wish the pigeons could be dealt with. Other than that it was great!

We visited during our short time in Honolulu and I saw that they had great reviews. Stopped in when they weren’t super busy and the worker didn’t seem happy for us to be there. Ordered the avocado toast, waiting about 15 minutes (again not super busy, maybe 3 ppl had ordered before us) and then this is what I got. Just SO confused how this was $14???? Overly salty and the bread was so thin

Delicious acai bowls and yummy avocado toast. Their coffee is also fantastic! The service is friendly and quick. Yes, it is on the pricier side but you should at least try it once!
