Def a take out place. The food was amazing tho. If you have allergies, you will need to ask a lot of questions. No descriptions and minimal help understanding ingredients. I had to ask the cashier to turn down his music because he couldn’t hear 🤣

Birria was pretty good, probably a solid 4.5. But the nachos were incredibly underwhelming in flavor. Prices were a touch high but the portions accounted for a lot of that. Atmosphere was pleasant. Service was pretty average if not slightly below.

It is a small Mexican cuisine establishment located in an interior patio where there are other food establishments and several stores.
The prices are low for Honolulu, and the portions are very generous. The food was amazing! You can order to take away, or eat at one of the tables in the same patio.
The atmosphere is very calm, there is a water fountain with Koi fish, there is shade and there is wind, ideal on a hot summer afternoon.

**5 Stars** I recently had the pleasure of trying the Birria Tacos at Tlacuaches 808, and I was blown away! The tacos were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I am not exaggerating, it’s the best on the Island. The consomé was rich and delicious, adding an extra layer of depth to the meal. Everything about this experience was great, better than any Mexican restaurant in Hawaii….I'll definitely be back for more!
Interesting little hide away hole in the wall! I had no idea what I ordered. It was the chefs recommendation but it was delicious. The leftovers were even tastier the next day

Truly an outstanding "hole-in-the-wall" (literally) Mexican eatery. Very friendly staff. Really good barria tacos and chile relleno. Quick service. Definitely recommended.
