Fantastic experience! Love their tuna sashimi, so tender and fresh. Their monkfish liver was also impressive which was tender, full of umami flavor and came with sauce and was rich and layered. My friend loved their Ugani Don as well!
Fun and bountiful izakaya, great menu written with humor. Good service though they can get busy, but just remember that it's izakaya and not fine dining, and you're golden. Generous sake pours too.
Came here at a friend’s recommendation while on break in Oahu. We came on the same day and was able to get a reservation for 10 people. The place is pretty spacious and the kitchen looked huge. Service was great and though we were the first party to arrive, it filled up fairly quickly. The menu is extensive and the food authentic - we had onigiri (well grilled and large), various yakitori, seafood risotto (recommended), hamachi collar (alright), salad and appetizers. Parking...
