Our server Valentina was so kind! We came toward the end of what looked like a busy day, and she made time to make us feel special! Food was good, too! We ordered the shrimp and corn dumplings (summer special), Caesar salad and lobster spring rolls. All were tasty and split a delicious ribeye for our main. Bottle of Sancerre was great as well! We'll be back for a happy hour for sure!
Had the Mac nut crusted snapper! Fantastic! Also the pina colada cake for dessert was perfect for celebrating my 60th birthday!! Thank you TB! Never disappoints!!
Grace was our fabulous waitress tonight and knocked it out of the park from start to finish! It's a wonderful setting upstairs on the Lanai overlooking bustling Kalakaua below. Food was delicious and their rewards program one of the best! Mahalo Nui Loa for my Birthday treat! ☮️💜🌺
Terrible experience. We reserved a table for 8:45 PM, and we were served quickly. When we finished eating at 9:30 PM, no one asked us if we wanted dessert, even though we mentioned it was a birthday dinner. They presented us with the bill immediately. By then, at 9:45 PM, they were already mopping the floor around us. Terrible experience, not to be repeated.
Great place to dine with the family. Live music, good food and service. We really enjoyed our time here. Would highly recommend.
The server took forever to take and bring orders. I get it's busy time, but we expected more from highly rated place at the prime location of Waikīkī.
The pineapple crème brulee was life changing! It was a great vibe for dinner with kids because it was relaxed and casual but it still felt really nice and elegant.
We love the Tommy Bahama restaurants and have been to many locations however this was our first time in Oahu and I was very disappointed. It just didn't feel up to the Tommy Bahama standards. It didn't feel as clean and well kept as other locations. the food was good but not outstanding and the server was polite at best but not friendly. Overall a disappointment as we normally love Tommy Bahama restaurants and drove 45 min to try this one. Unlikely to return to this location.
Service was outstanding and the food was perfectly cooked. Ambiance was amazing - they had such a talented musician singing and playing guitar live. Would definitely go back!
Great restaurant! Hosts and waiting staff were very cordial and efficient. We had a table along the windows, and had a great view of Waikiki in a breezy, Hawaiian ambience. The table was reasonably spacious, good distance between the other tables, so though the place was packed with many family groups, we didn't have to shout to each other, like we have to do in other vibrant places. The drinks were great, strong, but a bit sweeter than I preferred. While the food was great, they were rather salty. The sword fish was Butterly and amazing, but the rice it came with had thick sauce that I did not care much for. The burger was also great, but nothing unique. The pasta was flavorful, but more shrimpy than crab. We didn't try the desserts, as we were too full, after sharing a couple of appetizers and each ordering an entree. It may sound too critical, but I did enjoy the food, just given the price range, I thought I should comment. Overall, outstanding Hawaiian ambience, awesome service and reasonable food and drinks, I would definitely come back.
Restaurantji Recommends
We had a great experience. Great service and wonderful dinner and drinks. I also appreciate that the hosts put us in a spot with a nice view upstairs - I had requested that if it was available and they made it happen. 10/10 would recommended this place!
Very impressive! Live music on a rooftop in downtown Waikiki is hard to beat. We had the coconut shrimp, the blue crab bisque and the steak salad as the portions were plenty big to share. Adult beverages were creative yet still fit within the Hawaiian vibe! Must go check it out for yourself!!
We did not know what to expect with it being our first visit to a Tommy Bahama restaurant, but we went on the recommendation of our VRBO host. We were not only pleasantly surprised but the ambiance but blown away by the service and the food. The cocktails were so good we asked for more at the conclusion of dinner.
35th wedding anniversary couldn’t have been better. The food we ordered was delicious the service was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. We will be back
I love Tommy's! It's a place where you know you're going to eat well, find something you like, and the service will be good. This time we ordered the snapper fish and it was delicious. But the star of the night was the pineapple creme brûlée. I highly recommend you try it—it's exquisite!
