Superb cappuccino and cortado in elegant rooftop setting downtown Honolulu. This establishment was recommended by Phillip, masterful barista at Cafe Villamor and another kind gentleman at the Saturday farmer’s market. The barista at Kaimuki Curb also recommended Try as that’s where they redirected customers when their espresso machine once broke down. Coffee was elegantly prepared and brought to our table while we enjoyed the sun in a quiet open space that invites one to linger. There is also a clean, bright We-work type of space indoors. Beans are sourced from across the world with focus on quality. Strong coffee flavors, complex, rich notes, and luxurious crema make this a premier Oahu destination for me. Even stopped on the way to airport for second visit to confirm and enjoy the quality. Unfortunately could not spend more time enjoying rooftop patio which deserves 5 stars on its own as something I would expect at a 5 star hotel, and available for just a few dollars. Try this establishment yourself - you won’t be disappointed.

I tried their 12oz ice matcha latte with skim milk, not sweetened. Very reasonable price compare to some other coffee shops. But I won't come back. The drink was alright, but I wish the matcha taste could be stronger, used more matcha powder and matcha to milk ratio should be either 1:1 or 1.5:1. But the quality of matcha powder they use is not the good one, there is no bitterness in it. Probably similar to Starbucks kind? Service was alright, there are lots of regulars because baristas acknowledge them by names. I was paying cash and grabbing coins, then cashier probably think I am slow so she went to make coffee instead and no coming back to collect the cash, then when another barista saw me and ask if I order already. And it took awhile for me to get the drink (around 10 minutes) Medicore drink with okay customer service. Honestly the coffee/drink from farmers market tastes better.

Try I have such a soft spot for try coffee because it is so comforting and personable. The barista remembered my name when bringing my order (no table numbers or anything just faces to remember) as well as on my way out, which means so much in today's "coffee shop culture". Not to mention the honey latte was such good quality and decent price for the size in today's economy. The counter to order is in a shared space with box jelly, but the outdoor seating is partially covered which allows for the perfect breeze on a nice day. This coffee shop is in such a convenient and cute location right in Ward village. I cannot say enough good things and really admire this business and hope to become a regular!

I ordered a latte at Try. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor area is definitely the better place to sit, as it has a nice ambience. The latte was a pretty good latte - not especially noteworthy but still solid.

Best pour over coffee on-island. They change their coffee (daily???) Tell them what flavors you like and they can recommend something. If you come often, the baristas will start to recognize you and recommend things based on what you've liked in the past.

Great coffee spot tucked inside the Ala Moana Boulevard mall, their views are amazing. Ambience is amazing with plants inside and outside too, if it's plants and coffee--feels like I'm in heaven, this one hits right at that spot. Loved my coffee too, I island brewed bean latte and enjoyed my cuppa. There's lot of seating inside too, but sitting on their deck is the best way to look at the views.Spotted a green lizard too, can't say it's beautiful but the colors on it were amazing.

The coffee really isn't any good. Completely avoid the cold brew. The scene and siting area is the best part but the staff is aggressive with 1 hour sit limit. Better coffee/service in cafes all around here, maybe the outdoor siting isn't as cool but a better choice then this place.

Jellybox is a coffee restaurant shared with a shared office. There is a shared office on the left and a table on the right is where you can drink coffee, but it rained today so I couldn't enjoy the terrace properly. ㅠㅠThe coffee was delicious and it was enough. The latte is delicious and the Americano is also delicious.Personally, I don’t like copy that has a lot of acidity.Today's coffee had a rich, full-bodied aroma and taste that I just liked.
