I walked up to this corner with a bunch of food trucks around and when I was walking around checking each one out I saw Trydi’s and was asked if I wanted to try some free samples. I tried a few different things that I can’t remember everything but it was all SO good! I was even told to walk around and check out the other trucks but I came back and ended up ordering the Short Ribs and th Pork and both were so delicious! I loved the mac salad as well! Service was great and food was great! I will be stopping by again when I am back in Waikiki

Eating at a bench in front of the truck is essentially a take-out service, yet the prices are outrageous. To make matters worse, there are no prices listed on the menu. I ended up paying over $30 for a single Short Rib plate, coke, and a bottle of water. On top of that, there is no parking available, so I had to find and pay for a nearby public parking lot.
The quality of the meat was appalling. More than half of the meat was just pure fat, and it was so tough that I couldn't even bite into the parts near the bone. It is unacceptable to charge this much for such low-quality meat at a food truck. Don't waste your money here. Whatever you do, do not order the short ribs.

Price not listed, 40 dollars for entree and drink, regret buying. Lnl is just as good and worth the money.

Trydis BBQ is hands down the best Hawaiian food I’ve had. Everything is cooked to order, the mac salad is incredible, and the smoked meat, chicken, and kalbi are must-tries. With white rice and double mac, it’s pure perfection.

Proprietors were awesome and personable. Smoked Lilikoi plate is excellent and their take on the Hawaii Style Mac salad was the best I tried all week. Out door seating was shaded and plentiful.

The food here was outstanding. The sauce with the garlic shrimp was the best. And the lychee drink topped it off to perfection.

Ordered 2 plates yesterday for late lunch. Food was good but I was a little surprised at the price as it was not listed on the menu. $26 for the combo plate which was chicken and pork. $26 for the steak. Pasta was bland, but proteins were tasty. Trying to support local vs bigger restaurants/chain while here on vacation but def overpriced.
If you’re looking for an authentic Hawaiian food. I highly recommend this food truck. Delicious food and very accommodating business owners.
