I visited this food truck on my very first night on the island, and it instantly became the highlight of my trip. It was so delicious that I was a little sad they weren’t open on the weekend, because I was already craving a second visit! I ended up stopping by twice during my stay, and it was hands down the best food I had on the island. The flavors were phenomenal, the portions were huge, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. They even remembered my name, which was such a nice touch.
The first time I was there, I tried the smoked meat and Kalbi beef combo, and the second time I went all in with the smoked meat, Kalbi beef, and the garlic shrimp. Everything was just phenomenal. And I have to mention: definitely try the iced tea or the Island Crusher drinks—they’re super tasty as well. This place is an absolute must any time I visit the island, and I highly recommend it!

My mother and I stopped by the food truck court today so we could support the local business while on our vacation. There were plenty options available but it was the friendly demeanor of the gentleman up front that caught our attention. I was a little hesitant about the prices at first to be honest but the portions are HUGE! I got the Ribeye steak paired with the creamy shrimp which also came with rice and gravy and a portion of the Mac salad. All of the food was phenomenal and we still had seconds for later that night at the hotel. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the very plump shrimp was indeed very creamy with a garlic sauce that was excellent. The Mac salad had great flavor and the rice with that heavenly gravy was to die for. My mother usually doesn’t go out of her comfort zone like this and I just want to thank Trydis for making today a pleasurable food experience. We will still be here until tomorrow evening and will most likely take an uber to visit again before heading back home. Mahalo 😁

Food was good i enjoyed the lemon pepper wings but that 12 dollar lemonade gotta hit better if its gonna be 12 bucks. You can get a better one for 5 dollars from other food trucks right there.

A local plate lunch spot in Waikiki for tourists wanting to try or sample a piece of a Hawaii plate lunch. Their specialty is in meat, Kalbi, short ribs, smoked meat, steak, bbq. Every plate lunch comes with 2 scoop rice and mac salad.
I ordered the Lilikoi Smoked Meat. The Lilikoi smoked meat was Ono. The flavor and sweetness of the meat was very good.
I also got the garlic shrimp plate too but I didn’t like it so much. Maybe cuz I’ve tried too much of it already everywhere else lol.
But the atmosphere here is cool.
The customer service is awesome. Friendly and serviceable. And helpful.
Parking can be tricky though, it’s free after 5pm nearby. If you have a moped, should be good. If your hotel is nearby, you’re in luck.
Check this place out. When Locals cook they either say,”try dis (this) out” or “try sample dis (this)” or “you like sample?”
