We went to TsuruTonTan for their 50% off special menu after 8 PM, and it was such a great deal! I ordered the mentaiko kamatama, which is one of my absolute favorites, and it didn’t disappoint — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. This restaurant was surprisingly very disappointing. The server recommended we order the number one item from the menu as well as the curry that was number four on the highly recommended menu. The number one rated item that we ordered was honestly not appetizing at all. It was just a bunch of meats, boiled in super plain, barely seasoned water.
