We dined with Wolfgang's Waikiki last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to go again. When we arrived there were 3 young ladies at the hostess stand. One was on the phone, one was seating guests and one was texting on what appeared to be her personal phone completely ignoring guests in line to check in. She eventually checked us in and there was a short wait. We were seated in the back large dining room amongst 2 large parties with lots of noisy children running up and...

Sadly we were underwhelmed. We did eat at the lanai portion and had the three course 12 oz steak and the tenderloin bites and a salad. Tenderloin bites were super chewy and salad didn’t really have any dressing on it. My husband did like the way his steak was cooked.

The service was excellent and very friendly. Even though we were a party of seven, they managed to give us a seat in a great location. The meat was superb, and they even provided a complimentary cheesecake for a birthday in our group. Truly wonderful!
