Delicious selection of warm skewers, brought out as they are ready!

We made a reservation for 2 as the seating inside of the store was very limited, but the atmosphere and decor reminded me a lot of shops back in Japan! There were many different chicken skewers, and other flavors, all with the choice of either rare (teriyaki sauce) or shio (salt) which we were able to customize for each individual skewer. Each order came in a pair of 2 skewers, so we were able to try many flavors!

My personal favorite skewers were the kawa (chicken skin), gyukushi (beef), and the Tsukune cheese (chicken patty with melted cheese). I also really liked the yaki onigiri (rice ball) as it was grilled well and stayed together, with the sauce evenly distributed in the center. And the miso soup it came with really tied it together!

Overall a great meal and I’d highly recommend for anyone seeking a fun izakaya experience ?

LOVE this place! Food is great, atmosphere is warm and inviting. Friendly staff. Made me feel like I was back in Japan.I don't normally leave reviews, but this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!(PS - We ate like kings for under $45/person.)

It's a yakitori restaurant with charcoal-grilled skewers. The cozy atmosphere of a small Japanese izakaya is pleasant, but there are also spacious seats at the back. The food is simply delicious. We enjoyed cold tofu and four types of grilled chicken skewers while sipping on Japanese beer ?, plum wine ?, and sake.

I love the environment. Feels very local. They play Japanese city pop in the store which brings you to the feeling immediately. Food is not surprisingly good but decent. Very busy. Friendly cook and staffs.

Stopped in on a random weekday night and got lucky with plenty available parking spots in the small paid lot out back and many available seats inside. Most things were pretty good- sometimes the chicken was a bit tough and on the drier side, but some things like the steak and chicken hearts were superbly juicy and flavorful. Also loved the chewy and spicy kimchi tako! The only thing I'd skip would be their "Glad Ramen" which was rather simple and less satisfying than the other choices. They have lots of fun alcoholic drink options too and the staff were friendly and checked in the right amount. Definitely worth a quick dinner bite!

I love Yakitori and hard to find a good place. I used to go there often when I was in Hawaii, because of the great price! And the food was good! Now I took my bf there (we live is Seattle), and he loved it so so much lol. But to me the price was way higher than I remembered, and the tsukune(my favorite) was way too overcooked. Cheese one was so good!We would still go back since he loved it? but I’d ask to make a new one when my tsukune is dried up again

Knowing that this place was going to be budget Yakitori we tempered our expectations. Unfortunately, even so, the taste just wasn't there. The skewers tended to be overcooked and dry and the seasoning was generally bland and required more salt (shio). The staff was very friendly and the vibe was very local. The pricing was also super reasonable, but we wished the food was better.
