Great look funn rolls, char siu, shrimp, mushroom, and plain. Price has gone up in recent years but their rolls are very large.

This has been my family's go-to place to get Look Fun for years on end now. They have different types of- a plain type, some have green onion in them, and some have meat/shreds of char siu as well. My mom makes them with soup/turns them into something similar to Won Ton or we just eat it as is with fish sauce. Still super Ono either way!

If I lived nearby, maybe I would buy this look funn as an ingredient to warm up and serve with a dipping sauce or slice up to stir fry with veggies. But as a ready-to-eat noodle, it's a bit bland and they didn't offer me any sauce to go with. I arrived late on a Sunday morning, stood in a slow line and when it was my turn to order, they were out of all but two noodles. That said, the staff are pleasant and patient, the food is freshly made and served in generous portions, prices are reasonable, and the packing is nicely secure making it very easy to carry.

The rice roll is fresh, tasty and MASSIVE for 3 dollars. We got the mushroom one and shared it between two people with a little soy sauce. There’s no seating, it’s a grab and go place.

Our family's go to spot to grab look fun. They've been coming here for years. My in-laws are the ones who usually do the picking up, until we had our own cravings and wanted to make our own. The first time my husband and I went to find this place, I almost missed it! It's seriously a small take-out business with a door and window, but there is a sign. The look fun here is well made and doesn't fall apart in soup. Packed with chopped char siu or you can get the plain one, which we usually get a couple of each to mix in. Which ever you get, it's tasty. The people who were working were so friendly. Don't forget your cash and get there before 1pm ~ otherwise, you'll be running looking for an ATM before they close. Happy Eating :)

How you going to beat the price and freshness here. This is a must stop whenever I visit HI. I can't pass it up and I always end of over ordering. I can't take any home to the mainland so I fill up while visiting.

Such a deal: char siu, dried shrimp, or mushroom steamed rice noodle rolls: plan on one roll/hungry person, cook up some nice Chinese greens to go with your noodles, and you've got a great lunch! This is always a go-to stop for me when I'm shopping in Chinatown.

Have to pay this place a visit when your in Honolulu, a piece of history... it's one of the oldest shops in town, over almost 80 yrs.

Gone are the days of plain look fun rolls (used in soup or chow fun) @ 40 cents a roll. What you will find is the same consistent product at more than reasonable prices. Now also available are their fancier look fun rolls with either char siu or baby shrimp or my favorite, with bits and essence of mushroom. Located on the pedestrian thoroughfare known as Kekaulike Street, between King and Hotel Streets. Storefront opens at 7am. Best to get there early as this impressive operation does sell out early. With such a fragile product of course they wouldn't want any leftovers. Not to worry, there is hardly ever any!

Chang fen (or look fun in Hawaii) is one of my favorite foods. I love thin rice crepes that are silky yet chewy and generously stuffed with ingredients. The best ones I've found are in tiny stalls in New York's Flushing. I was so excited to find one here but they do not compare to the east coast ones at all. The skin is super thick, they only have dried shrimp, meat, or mushroom flavor that is barely mixed into the rice crepe. They all lacked flavor that which topping you picked doesn't make a difference. Because of my high expectations for changfen, this was just disappointing. If you don't mind thick rice noodles, that is a fine place that they make it fresh here at least.

Three and a half stars. Let me say that first of all I'm really glad that I walked past it today because they ARE open although it says they're closed on Tuesday and that their hours have changed as of a month ago. Secondly the place is so nice and old it's hard to believe they are still in business. It's great to watch the elderly men in the back make it. The look fun is fat and full of yummies inside. It's really old school but the taste is there. It's a fat fat roll and half of one was my lunch. Luckily I had chili sauce and shoyu on me at work to add to it. It needs some flavoring on top, in my opinion The place is small and full all around of items and boxes. However the flavor I'm sure hasn't changed in years! I love these mom and pop places. Thank you for my Valentine's lunch

Chi Kong Look Funn Factory is literally a little hole in the wall. I question the cleanliness of the place, but if I recall correctly, they passed the health inspection. Either way, their chow Funn is the freshest and best on the island. Cut the chow funn up and dip it in oyster sauce, or stir fry it with vegetables adding a couple shakes of oyster sauce and whiskey. So ono.

The best look funn anywhere. Long lines, fast service, large portions, and cheap prices.
