Came here for lunch to celebrate my Mom's bff Birthday. We invited a couple of her friends as well.
We had a delicious eight course luncheon.
Honey BBQ Ribs, Singapore Noodles, Concubine Chicken, Beef Chow Fun, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Kau Yuk with Taro, Steamed Fish Fillet with Soft Tofu, and Stir Fried Ung Choy with Harm Har.
Needless to say, we had plenty of leftovers for takeout. The ladies enjoyed the food. All the dishes were prepared well and great flavor. Price was inexpensive considering we got a lot of food.

I had their minute chicken cake noodle. Probably the best iteration of the dish I’ve had in Hawaii: delicious sauce, tender chicken, and superb quality noodles. However, the prices of their menu seem to change based on the cashier of the day. Kinda sketch.
We came here before and ordered duck and etc.But this time the waitress was soooo rude and change your bill from time to time. She didnt give you receipt just a number on a piece of paper. Then we ask how did you calculate this? Then she found she calculated wrong.and also didnt tell us about the policy they add 2 $ to each dish.Ok fine ,we know this after we finish the food. But last time when we came there is no such policy .Then we ask how about the rice?It is on the menu 1.75 $for each small bowl. She said 2 $ .Then why didnt you put 2 on the menu. And the waitress got mad suddenly and raises her voice .Then how much really in total? We are so confused. We were thinking to use the credit card but then decide to pay cash because who knows how you change the bill and do some disgusting tricks on it .The way you treat your customers will lead your customers go to other restaurant.Actually I recommended friends to try Lam‘s kitchen which is honest and with delicious food just across the street.I was thinking to introduce our friend to try this one ,but after this,uh uh…..no,we won’t tell any of our friends because we dont want them to experience this.

Good food- I ordered the sauteed seafood with veggies ( the only veggies were carrots and celery but still tasty) and some delicious char sui fried rice (I also ordered Chinese chicken salad but they were out.)BUT (and this is a big but) if you decide to come here I recommend that you only order takeout, don't eat in. The place is run by an elderly couple, the man is the only cook and does a great job managing that, but the woman dealing with customers ( I assume his wife) is really overwhelmed. They could use another person. This was my first time here so maybe they normally do and somebody called in sick.I had to wait forever for my check and on top of it I was overcharged a couple bucks. However I was so desperate to get out after the long wait I just paid it and left.(But the food was good...(
We went here just looking for a quick meal and boy were we surprised. The amount of food we got was incredible for the price! The soy duck was probably enough for both of us, but we also got rice and the honey walnut shrimp. It was probably more food than we needed, but it was so good that we ate it all anyway! I was surprised we were the only ones there when we went because it was a great place to eat.

Do You have sweet sour pig feet on your menu?
Very good food ! Salt pepper pork chop , Singapore noodles!
This place is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Waikiki. It’s just 20 mins from the beach and it’s worth checking it out. I would highly recommend to get the black pepper ?, it’s bomb!
Best restaurant in the island in my opinion. The food taste just like what they are in China. The volume of food is also big enough. The price is also pretty reasonable.

Though small with only eight tables, Yong’s Kitchen, a decent family business, offers delicious cuisines in Chinatown, Honolulu. Their house special chicken with ginger and onion sauce is the most popular dish which keeps us returning - chicken, free ranch, is tender and chewy; the ginger onion sauce is aromatic and flavourful, adding an irresistible taste to the chicken.
Terrible, where’s the DOH….their foods were “rubbish”, tasted old and if they “re-used” foods from leftovers!!!! Used gravies to hide the tastes…..not worth the money to eat there. Awful, be warned
Terrible, cheap stuffs, overcharged and foods were just awful. Do not go, not worth it. Think they cooked with leftovers and just added gravies to hide the taste
