Zippy's Kaimuki is my go to spot for a quick meal on the way home. I can stop to pick up a plate lunch, or dessert.

had an unpleasant experience at Zippy’s Kaimuki recently. As I was waiting to pay for my order, I noticed the cashier was distracted, playing word puzzles on her words puzzle booklet, rather than focusing on serving customers. This led to an unnecessarily long wait, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, when I received my order, I realized they had forgotten to include the sauce for my deep-fried mahi. It was disappointing to experience such a lack of attention to customer service, especially when I was hoping for a smooth and quick transaction. The restaurant was not busy at that time.

1/16 Shoutout to who I assume is the manager for taking charge and tackling the dinner rush. Those customers in line complaining have never worked in a service industry and it shows. Disappointing that fellow local people would put down hard working local people. AND right after the holidays too? So shame. And to that Doordash “employee” who came in accusing them and started making a scene at the window. YOU delayed the rest of our orders by pulling the manager away from her work to groan about your work and what you need to do. I’d leave that doordasher a bad review for sure.

I ordered a cheese omelet with a side order of mushrooms and even talked with the lady to please put them inside the omelet. Ordered a large juice. Got a simple cheese omelet with no mushrooms and a regular juice. The bill was adjusted, but c'mon, people listen to your customers. Talking to the ladies asking for my mushrooms 5 minutes later, no recommendations whatsoever. Nope won't be back to that one.

Ordered Chili Moco and Roast Pork plate and waited for almost a half an hour only to be told later that Roast pork plate was not available. Even after refund was given not happy had to wait that long only to be told order was not available.

Have you ever eaten at a Zippys? It’s sort of like a KFC, but they also have some delicious pies! I got the crispy chicken and chili with white rice! This is my first time ever trying chili with rice, and I have to say it it is pretty good!! #zippys #foodreview

I always have to visit Zippy's multiple times whenever I'm back in town, and get a zip pac. Just as good as it was 20 years ago. ? This location is really convenient and easy to grab takeout.

First time at zippy, you get a lot of food with a regular plate! Got the katsu chicken, lilikoi punch, flaky donut and a mala"z"ada. They have a great little bakery here. Lilikoi cakes and pies and more.
