“Wow! Sometimes you come across food you feel lucky you found. The food here tastes unbelievably good. I got the beef stew. It was a great value and tasted great. I street park by Karai Krab but they are in building with a parking structure so you can order quick and get out and not pay, I believe. Don’t miss this place!“
“This was a recommendation from our hotel and we came back two more times. It is a pleasant quiet neighborhood. We ate inside twice and outside once which I we preferred. My wife enjoyed the “Westside Burger” which she enjoyed. On other nights she had the excellent fish and chips and a very good pasta dish. I had some rather disappointing fish tacos but the next two nights I really enjoyed the “Bouillabaisse “! Our servers were excellent. The only disappointment was our passing up the great Bakery items on display.“
“Bought the 1/2 Turkey complete dinner with Turkey, homemade gravy, mixed vegetables, herb stuffing, garlic mashed, pumpkin crunch, rolls/butter and cranberry sauce. There was more than enough food, beyond my expectations. The staff is wonderful. Many disabled helpers. I am looking forward to buying the Christmas ribeye roast!!!“
“This is located in a federal building but it is open to the public! Take the elevator to the 5th floor and follow the same. They're open for breakfast until 10 and open for lunch until 2:00 PM. They have weekly specials, so make sure to check their website. In addition to their daily specials (for breakfast and lunch), they have their permanent items in case you are not feeling their daily specials. Salad bar is also an option and it goes by weight. Pretty good variety of desserts that changes; and all made in-house. Coffee available for breakfast or lunch. Includes soda fountain or bottled drinks. Seatings are plentiful, inside or outside. The staff here are extremely friendly and hardworking. Make sure to give them some alohas and mahalos on your way in and out. Portions are huge and price is affordable -- probably the best place to get good quality food for your buck. Just be careful, they do charge for sauce packets and disposable utensils to make up for their cheap prices.“
“A wonderful little cafe! As soon as I entered, I smelled something delicious! It was the curry special and french fries. The two counter ladies were so nice and efficient as they prepared orders coming in. I was early enough that the real lunch rush had not hit yet, so I asked to see the more formal dining area. It's really nice with tablecloths, huge windows and artwork. A handsome man was the server in that fancy area. I have to get back there for the burger next time.“

“For a school dormitory cafeteria food, the Hale aloha cafe can actually compete and even surpassed the regular restaurant buffet. Most buffet suck but for the Hale aloha cafe, they surpassed all the buffet restaurant and I have to say best buffet I ever ate in any buffet.“
“Excellent food and service. My wife and I were there for the Navy’s 248th Birthday Meal. The beef, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, corn, vegetables, and salad were delicious. Good crab legs though a bit salty. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere.“
