If you're from Philly, this is it, this is the joint. Great steaks, cool owner, and a very Philly atmosphere. Grab a steak and chow down on that jawn while you're watching the Phils, Iggles, or Broad Street Bullies.
It was very good and I liked the layout and theme, biggest complaint though is for a 6 to 8 dollar increase to make it into a meal they give a laughable amount of fries, I also wish the cheese was melted ontop of the meat, otherwise very good, sandwich was huge, worth the visit
Best cheesesteak I’ve ever had! Super friendly staff. Took great care of us. Order of 9 came out very fast!

Phillies is a restaurant that serves great steaks and has a very Philly atmosphere. It is located right on Pearl Harbor Navy base submarine pier, with an entrance behind the old Beeman liberty center. If you see the sign that says Phillies from the street near the NEX, go to the other side of the building to find the entrance. Parking is spotty, so prepare for a small walk. Inside is clean and has plenty of seating space, with multiple TVs available to watch sports. The Philly Steak is absolutely delicious and brings people back to Philly. The cheesesteak is huge, worth the visit, and can be a filler on its own. There are multiple options for additions to a cheesesteak to fit your flavor profile, plus other styles of cheesesteak, plentiful appetizer options, and canned and bottled drink options. The staff are extremely friendly. One complaint is that for a 6 to 8 dollar increase to make it into a meal, the amount of fries is laughable, and the cheese could be melted on top of the meat. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it fills you up really well. It is a hidden gem on base, one of the best cheesesteaks on the island, and outdid Geno’s by a landslide. This is a must try.
