Such a huge fan of this place! I come here every single time I visit North Shore Oahu. The thing I love the most about these guys is how much they love nature and farming and the incredible experience you have when going there to walk around the farm and see how they grow the food that they are serving their customers. Incredible business forced on reconnecting humanity with nature. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We visited Kahuku Farms on a Monday, arriving about 15 minutes after they opened at 11 AM. At that time, there were already a few people, but it still felt calm and welcoming.

Inside the shop they had samples of lilikoi (passion fruit) honey, syrup, caramel, and jams—such a nice touch to start the visit. The menu offers a variety of fresh, farm-style dishes. We ordered an açai bowl (my favorite part of the meal—it was absolutely delicious), a focaccia-style bread with mozzarella and toppings, and a wrap. We also tried a lilikoi basil drink that was super refreshing under the warm sun. Overall, the food was good, though I personally felt the açai bowl stood out the most.

What makes this place truly special is the atmosphere. We’ve been here for over two hours, just relaxing outside at the picnic benches. The background music is soft and Hawaiian-style, the grounds are full of trees and plants (avocado, lilikoi, noni, and more), and there are chickens and bright red-crested birds walking around, which adds to the charm. I even wandered through the farm rows—it really feels like connecting with nature.

They also offer farm tours on a tractor through the fields (you can book those online), but we chose to just enjoy sitting and soaking in the environment. By early afternoon more people had arrived, but it still felt spacious and relaxing.

Overall, Kahuku Farms is a place I’d definitely recommend—not just for the food, but for the whole experience of slowing down, tasting fresh local flavors, and enjoying the beauty of the North Shore. 🌿🌺

One of the best spots on the whole island. A real family , living soil small organic style farm. I’ve been to other competitor farms - they are way overcrowded, touristy, and each plant doesn’t get the same love. You’ll notice the difference when you arrive at kahuka farms and even more when you taste the fruit. They treat you like family as soon as you arrive.

I went to school for plant chemistry, so seeing people who really care for the land, soil and plants and actually pull off successful harvests is refreshing to me. It is impressive, because to avoid pests and spraying harmful chemicals takes the highest level of expertise, time and passion. Kahuka farms pulls it off on their beautiful farm. The employees are having fun on the tour, I highly reccomend it. And it’s actually cheap considering the experience and all the fruit and other products they share with you. Seasons and harvesting can change, but on my tour I got papaya , guava, lilikoi, bananas , star fruit, multiple citrus fruit, cocao, several types of chocolate, different drinks, butters, fudges, etc… throughout my tour. The farm was sectioned off into diffeeent areas focused on different crops and seeing each area was amazing. What this place does is amazing, and places like this don’t often survive but it’s expensive to produce fruit without taking short cuts. They also have amazing vegetables and their own kitchen on sight to make a true single source product.

They have a cafe with absolutely outstanding food. I haven’t been able to find good pizza in Hawaii as someone from the east coast. They offer a very unique pizza and it is outstanding. Unlike any pizza I’ve had , it’s in focaccia and includes their own local tomatoes and other ingredients. They are the only place in all of Hawaii with single source acai that they grow and produce - and it’s by far the best I’ve ever had.

I’ve been on this island for about a year and throughly explored 40-50 beaches, 30+ hikes, and dozens of touristy attractions and a lot of low key things as well and can confidently say spending the day on this farm was one of the best, most amazing and memorable days by far. I’m ready to take all of my friends and family when they visit, over and over.

I pray this farm thrives and is around for as long as time allows as this is a true real farm, coming from someone that knows agriculture. No short cuts, just love and passion.

If you’ve made it this far in my review - here is how I’d spend the day.

Go fasted - pretty quickly into the tour they start sharing fruits. And it doesn’t stop. After the tour, go to the cafe and try their focaccia dish but make sure to add avacado. Follow up with acai bowl. If you have multiple people, add the pizza and share the two savory dishes. On the way out, grab some lilikoi butter, Mac nut crumble , and some hot fudge.

The avacados are the best I’ve had in my
Life so grab those as well if it makes sense time wise for your trip. Enjoy!

It was so fun to see the behind the scenes of this farm and get in touch with how our food is grown! The team was inviting and friendly and we loved that we were able to try the raw cacao pods, papaya, applebanana, lilikoi, cara cara oranges, and various other fruits and sauces that are made on property for the shop. It really was a great experience!

We decided last minute to visit this farm today. Despite the fact that we arrived a little late, they made space for us on the farm tour. Our 5 kids loved it. If it's a little rainy, be expected to get a little dirty / wet and wear appropriate clothes and shoes if you want to do the tour. The prices for food and the tour are comparable to anywhere else on the island. On the tour you get to sample many things straight from the farm, totally worth it! The food is delicious and the tour is very informative. Overall, this is a very family friendly, local owned farm!

Best açaí bowl of my lifeeee.

It says it’s the only one entirely grown on the island which is cool.

Lovely, chill place with friendly staff in a beautiful setting on the way to North Shore!

Took our family to a fun farm tour at Kahuku Farms! My kids LOVED it and said it was the best part of our trip to Hawaii. We were able to try passion fruit, star fruit, papaya, apple banana, cacao, guava, dragon fruit, star fruit, plus chocolate, passion fruit jelly / butter / syrup. Everyone here so friendly. My mom (a senior) also really loved it. Not strenuous! So fun! Highly recommend
