He makes a kick ass coconut cake (shoutout to his sister for making a delicious recipe!) it’s like a tres leches cake but with coconut and honestly I didn’t take any pictures because we are everything so quickly <3 will be back !“

“Our family has enjoyed Fork and Salad for years. They have amazing staff, expertly designed salads and sandwiches, and great local products. It’s “feel good food” that always leave us satisfied and feeling healthy. Our kids also love it (they eat kale now!) and our six year old says that she wants to work there someday! “The food was pretty good. It is in the airport so it was a little busy. But you can order and pay at your table if it gets too busy. The noise level is a little loud but you can still have a conversation without a problem. I liked the vibe.“

The breakfast burrito was 10/10! The smash burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long long time. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor! Would 110% recommend Cafe Mambo and definitely worth the wait if they don’t have an empty table!“

“I am happy to see this local family get a brick and mortar location. For those of you that are from upcountry. These are the guys that used to do the ono BBQ on the weekends a few years ago. Then they were in Lahaina for a little while then at Foodland Maui Lani. Now they have this place. The food is still great and the value is awesome. These guys really give you bang for your buck. This trip I ordered the BBQ Steak plate and the BBQ chicken Plate. They both come with rice and green salad and their house dressing which I love the taste. I have tried almost everything on the menu with the exception of some of the specials and I can say they have some of the best BBQ plates on the island. I really like their BBQ chicken the flavor is all the way thru the meat. The location is new to them so it is still a little bare but they are working on it. I highly recommend these guys. The service is really good and I really like the fact that I am supporting hard working locals than know how to crank out good food at a good price. I recommend stopping by. The nice thing is you can buy the meat by the pound if you extra hungry.“

“It's a nice place for cocktails and bar food at sunset. The servers are friendly and will mix any drink you ask for. Combine it with a burger and you have a nice evening out. It's open seating so there may not be any tables open. But there was plenty of room around the bar.“
