An iconic ice cream shop.
Their strawberry flavor is my favorite and I never miss a quick getting in for it .
A great place to purchase one of Hawaii best ice cream.
I had this place on my go-to list while visiting Maui. All the glowing reviews made me believe it would be a unique ice cream experience with amazing texture. Instead, it turned out to be more like cold, sweetened icicles—closer to shaved ice than ice cream. The flavors were diluted and underwhelming. The strawberry tasted artificial, almost like bubble gum, and the pineapple was nearly tasteless.
Overall, it didn’t live up to the hype.

Oh my gosh! First ice shave we tried here and it’s soooo good. Fresh, sweet and delicious. 100% recommended!
This place is so goooooood. Usually has a line. Was recommended by many locals. They have two flavors, strawberry and pineapple. Getting a blend is best. Cash only.

Guru Guri is a light, smooth and refreshing sherbet. It’s also cloyingly sweet and artificially flavored. The “strawberry” in particular does not taste like a strawberry, more like pink bubblegum. Guri Guri is popular and has a faithful local following, so maybe it will be your thing too. Lots of people also like the sugar frosting on a supermarket cake. I ate a few bites of my Guri Guri and tossed the rest.
Prices are now $1/scoop so $2 for 2 scoops, $4 for 4 scoops. Scoops are small but pricing is reasonable. I preferred the pineapple to the strawberry which tasted more artificial to me (bubblegum flavor). Short line on a Tues afternoon and friendly staff
Got recommend to this spot by locals, and would go back. Saw a bunch of regulars both young and young at heart. Would go back next time I visit.

There’s only 2 flavors to choose from, strawberry and Pineapple, but both are DELICIOUS! The scoops are super small, but they are great portion sizes and are very cheap. I will 100% be coming again!
