I ordered three single tacos which came out to be around $18. The veggie was good, carne a bit tough, and I didn’t enjoy the consistency and saltiness of the chile verde… To be honest, it was hard to enjoy the food when my seat had a direct view of the floor under the soda fountain, which looked like had never been cleaned since the restaurant started.

Fish, carnitas and veggie taco were all EXCELLENT and we ate picky being from Southern California where we have the best Mexican food. Generous sized tacos. The staff were fast and super friendly.

This food was extremely good. We are from California, so are very used to excellent Mexican food. They served the best breakfast burrito that I have ever had (and happily included amazing chorizo and beans in it instead of skipping the beans like a lot of restaurants do). They also made excellent tacos. We have been coming to the Big Island for 30+ years, and this was some of the best food that we have had (and yes, we have gone to many of the restaurants on the island, both...
