Sweet Journey Soft Serve

We visited a couple times because the food was so good. The tacos are fresh and delicious, and the omelettes are divine. The meals come with fresh juice. Service was fantastic.

Great natural vibe, like you're in nature. Had a strawberry shake and a Kona coffee shake. SO DELICIOUS! You totally cannot tell it's non-dairy. You get a small sample as soon as you walk in the door. You will he hooked!

We showed up 15 minutes before closing and they we so friendly! Offered us samples and so engaging. The ice cream was superb!

Best ice cream place I’ve ever been to! We were skeptical wondering how macadamia nut ice cream could be good but they offered samples when we walked in and were blown away! So delicious! Wish we could take it back home to MN!

Hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Also incredible customer service. We found this gem of a place on day two of our trip & will absolutely be coming back again (and maybe again and again) while we’re still here!

Amazing ice cream and great service!

Extremely smooth and creamy soft serve, with even the "plain" vanilla being delicious. I was surprised that they only had 2 flavours though (macadamia-vanilla, and macadamia-dragonfruit-strawberry) - for such a highly rated icecream specific listing I would expect to be spoilt for choice. Both were nice though, so after they gave us a small taster we ordered one of each. Portions are generous, though for the price you would hope so!

Omelette is amazing!!!

The Acai bowls are amazing topped with strawberry,bananas, papaya,coconut shavings,and blueberries. Had also Granola and hemp seeds and pumpkin seeds.

When we got there we received a small sample of soft serve: vanilla dragonfruit! It was so good! Of course we got more of it! So tasty! Best soft serve we had that trip. It is the same as Journey cafe. One restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-12

This cafe is the best for vegan food on the Big Island. The ice cream is delicious. This cafe is a little expensive, but it has the best food so it’s worth it to me.

We were in Kona for four days she we had this ice cream 6 times !! That’s how good it was ! Probably the best ice cream we have ever had hands down ! Just tasted so fresh and delicious and it’s made of cashew and Mac nut ! The place is really special and the staff is super friendly ! A true gem in Kona !
