“Temple is by far the best bar here in Kona, it has great unique cocktails. This is our go to spot for getting drinks out with friends of an evening. You can catch a great sunset & has really nice ocean views. The drink menu is expansive, always super solid, with lots of unique local inspired cocktails. The food is a little expensive, there’s better cheaper food options close by. But the drinks are really what stands out & we’ve always had great friendly service! Don’t forget to ask about getting your parking validated!“

“The market is a solid morning stop for coffees, fresh pastries and smoothies each morning while staying in Kona Village. Free drip coffee and fruit each morning for guests was a lovely touch. Lunch in the restaurant was not as exceptional as one would hope, but was enjoyable with a great view of the beach with very attentive, warm service.“

“I stopped eating here on my way to the mainland because the place used to feel so unwelcoming — the customer service was pretty rude.
But I decided to give it another try recently (mostly because I was starving), and wow, what a surprise! They got a new casher, super friendly, had a great smile, and made the whole place feel completely different. For a moment, I thought I’d walked into the wrong restaurant!
What a great change. With this kind of friendly service, I actually feel good spending my money here again.“

“We came over from the Four Seasons for dinner. The building is beautiful with high volume ceilings and incredible views, especially during sunset. The menu is small but food was well prepared. Don't miss the beef cheeks - something you don't often see on a menu. It was like a delicate slow braised short rib. Definitely make a reservation and stop in when in Kona.“
