I stumbled upon Holoholo in Kailua not knowing quite what to expect—but I was genuinely impressed. The service was warm and welcoming, and the quality of the drinks exceeded my expectations. I ordered the macadamia nut latte with macadamia nut cold foam, and it was absolutely delicious. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced—highly recommend!
The shop itself is a hidden gem, tucked away with a charming little outdoor seating area under a beautiful plumeria tree. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to linger a little longer. I’ll definitely be back!

Love this coffee spot! Really really miss when they were a drive thru, but I know that is out of their control. Young people working it are kind and quick. My favorite is their matcha latte with strawberry syrup.

I'm giving one star for service (the baristas were friendly and helpful!) and one star for the location being cute.
However I'm taking off three stars because not only is it NOT a drive through (I had to find nearby parking and pay a meter, then walk over) but I ordered FIVE drinks and they were all awful! We were having a coffee day at the beach so we all got different drinks to share. We tried some more risky stuff, like the cold brew specials, and some pretty safe stuff, like the mocha. Not a single one of us liked any of them, and we're not even coffee snobs.

The coffee smells SO good! Had to stop when we passed. They have so many different flavors and options. We ordered the seasonal special ice espresso island breeze and hot cappuccino. Love both of them.
