I bought 4 steak street tacos and a pork burrito mar 24. Both the steak and pork were over cooked so much they were dry. That may have also explained why they tasted like they didn't have any seasoning. No salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, oregano, smoke. Nothing but meat dry cooked in an oven for too long. Then the plain rice and "pico" filled the burrito with very little meat. I say pico, but It was actually a little cilantro and a whole grip of onion, no tomato. Most bites were onion and rice. You can see the tacos were the same with the onion. Tons of onion, a little cilantro and limes with no juice. I have had worse but I wouldn't call the food good. I heard the burger place next door was good.

Man the girl who took our order had the biggest mad face ever. Why not try to smile? It might even make you feel better. And since I asked a question I was made to feel like I must be so stupid. Why not try to be nice...?

We were in Kailua and made a quick stop in here. We tried one of their new items, the Meat Street Burritos. It comes in three variations : El Toro, Wikiwiki Shrimp and Pollo Sabroso. We ordered the El Toro (steak, cilantro, onion, pico de gallo and fresh lime juice). It has half a pound of protein. The burrito was huge and excellent. It had great flavor and the steak was just right. The only thing is that the inside was a little cold due to all the fresh ingredients. It came with tortilla chips and salsa. Perfect! We washed it down with Mango Jarritos. I love those drinks. Check in on Yelp to get free churros. It came with two pieces in foil with caramel dipping sauce. This was the best part of the meal. The churros were warm, crispy and chewy. It was so good. Get the churros.

waiting for order power went out and it didn't get made.I think they should atleast offer some chips and a smile while I wait .That would be aloha spirit.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that the employees refuse to answer the phone. There were 3 people who all asked if the phone number was wrong because they don’t ever answer. Everytime i go. Food is good tho.

I've been to this restaurant twice. I ordered the fish taco plate and it was delicious. The ambiance is ok. Service lacked aloha spirit both times, though the second time was a little better. The one thing that ticked me off and I took off a star was that when you order chips and salsa, you pay about $7 and you get a small serving of chips and no salsa; you are told to go to the free salsa bar and help yourself. That's a total rip off. They're supposed to give you chopped up tomatoes salsa, which isn't offered at the free salsa bar. I should give them only one star but I admit the rest of the experience was good.

Last night placed an order for three orders of shrimp tacos. When we got to the restaurant to pick it up there was only one order so explained to the lady that we ordered three. At that time she tells us we have to get back in line to place another order and at this time there was a long line up in the restaurant. I asked why when the original order was for three. Do we have to now get in another line and wait for two more orders while I first order? Is ice cold at this point but she still made us do that. Totally rude manager and I will never ever recommend their useless restaurant. Again. Totally disappointed 100%

Are you driving on Route 72? Go right ahead. This entire menu is $47!!!! I ordered fajitas - steak, chicken / quesadilla - shrimp. The portions were really large and the prices were very, very affordable compared to Hawaii. I'm so happy that I was able to find a restaurant like this ?? Seeing that there aren't many Koreans and there are a lot of locals, I guess it's a local restaurant! Sauces can be refilled at the self-service bar for children who want to eat them. Haha. Out of all the food I ate in Hawaii, this is the only place I want to eat again ? (Actually, I'm just finishing eating and sitting down to write, but if I have time for the rest of the year, I want to come again.. )The staff was friendly and I didn't have to wait long for the food, but it came out very quickly!!Parking: There is a large parking space, so you can come comfortably!

LOVE Maui Tacos! A decent number of choices, very good flavors and large portions (for Hawaii).Parking: If there are no spots open in the small parking area in front of the restaurant then you can park in the large lot on the other side of Teddy's.

This might be my first review. Picked up take out yesterday after a beach trip. We each got something different. Family was all super stoked on quality. Very fair prices too. Seriously, wanted to call them yesterday after lunch. Might still call.

If you don't mind waiting for a damn good shrimp taco, this is the place to go. A slow and stand off ish service, but the food makes up for it. Try the horchata!

Maui Tacos is definitely a place that I regularly go to. The food is usually always good and on point, Only downside is that it can get really busy and the wait can be 30 minutes or so. Service is ehh. Might be because it gets busy and stressful sometimes which i understand. I always get the 3 street tacos plate (with your choice of meat, I always get Carne Asada) which comes with your choice of rice and beans. The carne asada fries and wet burritos are good as well! I always make sure to get side cups of the chipotle aioli sauce because it's so creamy and delicious.

The food here is excellent if you're hungry for some Mexican inspired food ?I wouldn't necessarily rate it as 100 percent authentic as it has that Hawaiian twist, but nonetheless, it tastes great.Parking: Parking stalls are located just outside the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Normal ADA compliance.
