We were in Kailua and made a quick stop in here. We tried one of their new items, the Meat Street Burritos. It comes in three variations : El Toro, Wikiwiki Shrimp and Pollo Sabroso. We ordered the El Toro (steak, cilantro, onion, pico de gallo and fresh lime juice). It has half a pound of protein. The burrito was huge and excellent. I've been to this restaurant twice. I ordered the fish taco plate and it was delicious. The ambiance is ok. Service lacked aloha spirit both times, though the second time was a little better. The one thing that ticked me off and I took off a star was that when you order chips and salsa, you pay about $7 and you get a small serving of chips and no salsa; you are told to go to the free salsa bar and help yourself. Are you driving on Route 72? Go right ahead. This entire menu is $47!!!! I ordered fajitas - steak, chicken / quesadilla - shrimp. The portions were really large and the prices were very, very affordable compared to Hawaii. I'm so happy that I was able to find a restaurant like this ?? Seeing that there aren't many Koreans and there are a lot of locals, I guess it's a local restaurant! Sauces can be refilled at the self-service bar for children who want to eat them. Haha.
