Stopped here on St. Patrick's Day for lunch after hitting the beach in the morning. Found it by looking up places quick on Google. Had a decent menu and all of our food was good. Was only one waitress in the place - and she did a good job handling how busy it was. Worth a stop by if you are in the area.

Nice atmosphere with good service. The food was good but the kitchen could have done better at getting the 5 orders out closer together. Three came out at once and the other two dribbled in making an eating disconnect. Variety of choices both food and drink. Ate outside as it was a gorgeous day and we are in Hawaii.

This is the quintessential dive bar - in all the good ways. The food was good and the atmosphere was fantastic. And best of all, the waitress, Lillian, was the highlight. It was my birthday and she hunted down candles and was genuinely excited to “do something fun” for my birthday. She was attentive, enthusiastic, and a joy. They ran out of forks when we were there - thankfully we were all having burger and handheld entrees. So deciding who would get the one fork only added to the charm. Highly recommend after a day at the beach.

...despite the food being pretty good - made to feel that way from both the intoxicated owner and the slightly erratic, somewhat inappropriate waitress. I did have my mask off (bad me) in this way crowded, marginally nice-looking local place when I walked in. I was waiting by the register for someone to say something to me (for a while), and that waitress finally did by barking something about my mask being off (in a large room of mask-less people and without even looking at me) while passing by. That owner pulled himself away from his table to be involved and started telling me all kinds of things: waitresses can do whatever they want here, his problems getting food supplies, a clear hatred of the two other Shacks in Mililani and Hawaii Kai. To a certain but I don't know extent, alcohol is certainly a component of managing this place. Whatever, I was seated waiting on my friend Gee who of course ran into someone on the way in and was doing some kind of deal. Gee was taking a while, and I ordered some fries to wait him out. They were crisp and good. When Gee finally arrived, I ordered a club sandwich and he got a local kalbi/Chinese chicken plate with the 2 scoops of rice and 1 mac salad thing going on. He ordered huge because I was paying, and local boys like him always order kalbi when someone else picks-up the tab - like I'm an ATM or something. That waitress was always popping by sitting down next to me or Gee and hugging us and just being like she knows us. I don't know; I keep thinking of that Progressive Insurance TV commercial where Dr Rick is telling people that they don't need to know their waiter's name. So I like I said: the food is good here. My sandwich was fresh and tasty, and Gee slammed the side salad that came with it. He was also way into his big plate too eating the kalbi with his hands and scooping the rice and mac salad on the meat - it was all kind of gory and primal. You know whatever he does he does. I guess he was flirting with the girl. Their size differences would be something else. Overly all too familiar for me. Anyway, I over-tipped her for some reason I don't know why. I remember leaving thinking no reason to come back here. If there ain't professional, sober management on the floor not just letting staff do whatever they want, probably things aren't too tight in the kitchen either.

We arrived a little later in the evening to this obviously popular spot as evidenced by the full house. Our party of four was seated right away and our drink orders were quickly taken. This is a pub-food place and our burgers were great! My wife had fish and chips, however, and it came with no tartar sauce. When she asked our server (Schwing) about the tartar sauce, they had just run out. My wife just decided to eat the fish au natural yet a few minutes later, Schwing appeared with a dish of tartar sauce... Turns out she's talented in the kitchen and had gone back and made the sauce from scratch so my wife would not have to go without!! Are you kidding me?? So overly impressed with this above and beyond service!! Kudos to Schwing and The Shack!! P.S. Schwing is her nickname; you'll have to go and find out her real name in person!!

Quite comfortable this January evening on the patio. Wings were excellent, small Chinese chicken salad was enough to share, beef and chicken burgers were fine. Service slow.... had to ask for most things unfortunately.

A great place to eat and have a beer in a small Hawaiian town! We visit the Shack in Littleton, Co and had to visit the same in a Hawaii. Same great service, great food and great atmosphere! The burgers and fries are delicious.

We stumbled across this place when getting off the highway to the north shore. We were looking for a late breakfast and spotted a Starbucks across the road, but noticed how great it smelled and how crowed it was at The Shack. We discovered we forgot about the time change from the main land when we saw all the various NFL games on. So we went with the flow and ordered a pitcher of beer... :) I had the Philly Cheesesteak. AMAZINGLY TASTY. Others had Club Sandwiches. All of us really enjoyed the food.

Typical sounds of a pub. Chatter from dinners. Lots of TVs. Service was good and friendly. Not speedy, but certainly not slow. Delicious eats and drinks.

I LOVE this little bakery. It does amazing chocolate dessert, fabulous cheesecake, my favorite are the lilikoi chocolate cups and the CBD truffles. Just plain delicious.
