Pieology Pizzeria, Kailua

I came here for the first time tonight not expecting much and it was awesome! I was going to get takeout but the vibes were great so I switched to dine in. Zander was so nice and helpful. And the playlist was fire! The buffalo cheesy bread was so good. Thank you.

Based off a visit in 2022. The only vegan crust is GF, which is weird. And it was not good. Burnt, hard and thin. Definitely recommend the pizza at Down to Earth instead. Best GF crust (regular is good too), and vegan toppings. We get them made to order. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-19

Not sure who was working today 10/4 at 2pm. But she was all alone and crushed it. She had customers at the front and to go orders and handled them quickly and efficiently. It was awesome. Thank you!

Didn't go in to eat so atmosphere is assuming. As far as the food and service!! Amazing!! Perfect seasoned meats, cheese was fresh and I had the calzone. Cooked to perfection!! I will return and I recommend it to everyone!

I ordered 3 pizzas through UBER, and the pizzas tasted like soap !!! It was very nasty!! I call twice to get an explanation and they didnt pickup the phones! Now our family of 5 have stomach aches, the pizza tasted like Fabuloso cleaning product.

Ordered online 2 out of the 3 items were totally wrong. Not the toppings or sauce we ordered, dough was under cooked. Tried to call 8 times over 3 hours and no one picks up and no way to leave a message to resolve the problem. Would have been happy to just have them remake it but no answer. Always go to the Kaneole location with no problems. Tried the Kailua location and probably won’t be back. Such a disappointment!

Love the experience with my kids. Customer service was great from gentleman in Grey shirt with long black hair sleeve of shirt said manager. But it was perfect timing for us to wash hand and get settled and pizza was done. Really liked the music more so with fiji recently passing away. Thank you💜

All of the employees were wearing ear buds and no hair nets as they leaned over and fixed your pizza. The pizza took twice as long as usual to prepare and then I had to walk up to the counter to get it since they just left it sitting there. Obviously they are having trouble hiring good help, because we’ve never had these problems there before.

I visited this place because I heard great things about it. I attempted to order from here three times via Uber eats with no luck. I got a driver once, but they dropped the order. The last time I tried I switched to pick up due to no drivers in the area. When I arrived to this Pieology the open sign was turned off. This was confusing because Uber eats read they were open for another full hour.

It was my first time there so I tried going in through the mall doors. The doors to the mall were open, but the doors to the pizza shop inside the mall were locked. When trying to open the door to the shop everyone inside just stared at me. No one tried to direct me or help me get in! As I walked around to the terrace to find another entrance I tried to get the attention of one of the employees who was walking in but he ignored me. Seeing that the door was open and unlocked I walked in to get my order. I looked around and at the counter and guess what! I was just stared at! I felt like I was in the twilight zone. An unusually long amount of time passed before I was asked if I was picking up an order. When I replied yes, it seemed as if the cashier had to login or reopen the register to process my order. That confused me so I asked what time they closed. It was an entire hour before clpsing and it looked like they were fully shut down for the night. Is this normal protocol? Turn off the light and start shutting down shop a full 60 minutes before posted business hours. By the time I got home the pizza was cold and sub par. My husband enjoyed it, but the experience getting there ruined it for me. I will not be returning to this Pieology any time soon.

This is a classic build-your-own pizza spot.

In our experience, service was quick and the person who helped us was friendly.

You can see the oven and watch your pizza being made right in front of you, which is always a nice touch.

The flavor was good, but overall it felt a bit like a fast food chain, kind of like Subway.

Still, a solid option if you’re looking for something quick and customizable
