Kauai Kookie is not an upscale location meant to impress tourists. It's a local business where you will find people who live on Kauai eating. That said, baked goods are nice and breakfasts are good. Can't speak about lunches or dinners. My family and I used Kauai Kookie as a breakfast spot when we were heading towards activities on the southwest side of Kauai.

This has been by far our favorite place to eat. We went back several times. The food was delicious! Everything we tried was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and we loved the old style family vibe. Definitely recommend!

Very low key and casual restaurant. Counter service, food is great, and is family friendly.

We got loco moco and fried chicken plate and a musubi togo. A lot of choices for different preferences and affordable.
