“Happened upon this delightful and delicious restaurant in Lawai. The seating area and bar are surrounded by beautiful greenery and the breeze made our outdoor lunch nice and cool. The fresh food and drink selection were A++ as well as the wait staff. A definite must!“

“We ate at La Spezia twice in September 2024 and absolutely loved it! A couple of us had the fettuccine calabrese, which was delicious and huge – enough for two meals. We also tried vongole e gamberetti, spaghetti arrabbiata, short rib ravioli, and veal scallopini. We also took desserts to go—tiramisu, cheesecake, and panna cotta. All were very good. Every dish gets a thumbs up! Probably the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. And the service was top-notch. Considering the quality, priced are reasonable. If I’m ever back in Kauai I’ll eat there again. Tip: Make a reservation if you want to get it. It’s not a large place.“

“If you're handicapped, good luck getting down to this place. Long walk down a hill to get there, then uphill to get out. The cocktails are just okay. Good was nothing special. Overpriced IMO. I give this place a 3.7 but rounding to the nearest whole number. (4)“
