He Mea 'Ono Poi Factory and Hawaiian Food

This little place has awesome food. It is very small, the shop only holds like maybe 6 people inside at a time and they have a couple bistro tables outside for seating. But the food is so worth it! We had the Hawaiian Nachos...so, so, so good! Parking is sparse, but do yourself a favor and give this little place a try!

Just WOW! I’ve only just started living here and I’m staying in Waikiki right now but had to head to base on this side of the island and thought let me try a place a bit off the main roads and this place… did NOT disappoint! The service was insanely fast just a couple of minutes and very friendly, got my food and took a seat outside and for a picky eater I was nervous cause I’d usually just ask for things like this with just the pork cheese and chips 😂 but I thought let’s give Hawaii a real shot and those were incredible! I’ll be back to try other things for sure!

I would have taken pictures, but we ate everything too quickly! Got the Kaneohe combo plate and the Hawaiian nachos. Both were delicious and together were enough for 2 hungry adults. Highly recommend!

First timers. Very good Hawaiian authentic grindz. I just wish the squid luau was a bit more thick. Kinda runny but very flavorful and choke tako. I recommend this place for authentic Hawaiian food.

BEST local grindz on the island not even close. Stumbled upon this in Kaneohe…now I’m going to go out of my way to come back!

I had the pork with rice and tapioca.

Pork was incredible, amazing flavour. A little salty.
Rice was rice.
The pudding, not my thing, but maybe you’ll like it.

We went there at opening 10:00 am.
They were not open till around 10:15 am.
The girl who took our order was very polite and courteous she explained how they were running late due to the late delivery of some of there fresh products that they use.
It was WORTH the wait.
The food was plentiful and tasty.
They also have some very good tshirts.
Go now and try it out.
Only three tables though, so carryout maybe your best bet.

Amazing food prepared by amazing people.

This was one of the first authentic Hawaiian restaurants we visited once arriving on island and it was truly delicious. The staff was so kind, welcoming and knowledgable. We ordered the Kane’ohe Special and the Hawaiian Nachos and both were amazing. The chicken long rice was one of our favorite things. When she brought our meal to us she explained what each thing was as if it were our own mini luau. There were just a few seats for outside dining but the view was stunning. If you find yourself out on the Windward coast you really should stop in and enjoy.

The kalua pork, lomi salmon, and long rice were well seasoned, good portion of laulau and some of the best squid luau ive ever had! Such a good little spot!
Limited seating- this place is perfect to grab plate lunch and head out
