Down home Chinese fast food. I’m no expert on what qualifies as “authentic Chinese” but this certainly did not feel like Americanized Chinese food. We ate Jai, egg fooyun, with white rice. Very tasty. The server was energetic and entertaining while making helpful recommendations.Vegetarian options: No vegan options, but three vegetarian options. Definitely has the fast food tendency to be a bit heavy on the oil, but still quite good.

Walked in at 645pm on a Friday night and it was obvious the food was not hot enough to be served. I have over a decade of managing restaurants and so I put my hand in a area where it should’ve been too hot to keep my hand there if it was the proper temperature but I was able to keep my hand there on the metal for however long I wanted. Every bit of this food was a bed for bacteria at the temperature it was kept at.

I ordered a three choices plate was sweet sour pork , roast ducks, and the lady told me that it’s $1 extra so I said OK so I stopped because I was still deciding for my third choice, so I finally told her that I like some eggfoo-young, and that’s when she told me she will take out two good pieces of meat,( roast duck ) and that leaves three pieces of bones in the plate. I asked her why would you do that I’m going to pay you $1 extra for the roast duck and she told me that because it’s a three choices plate. I told her no thank you I’ll go somewhere else. She is so rude and unprofessional I would not recommend this place.

This restaurant is conveniently located at Windward City on the Starbucks end of the shopping center and has a lot of parking, it was a rainy day today and I was craving some nice warm soup. My father and I decided to try their won ton mein for the first time. It was excellent! It was so good, I dove right in and forgot to take a photo of my won ton mein! We got it to go. It cost 30 cents extra for separate soup but well worth it because they gave a lot of soup! My dad enjoyed the won ton mein saying the won tons were huge and tasty and char siu was excellent as well as a tasty soup w no msg. The won ton mein was $10 and had 6 won tons, several pieces of yummy char siu, some won bok, and yummy noodles and soup, I noticed they have reasonable prices for party trays. $29 for a small tray of gon lo mein, perfect for a potluck. I have to try their 2 choice plates next time!

This place was unreal. We ordered a pan of noodles and garlic potato salad this morning. Said it would be ready by 3pm. We take the receipt with us back to grab the order at 3pm and the guy working said he didn't have our order (Ummm...ok?). We let them know the lady who was there earlier rang us up but because this guy didn't see what we ordered on the receipt he didn't know what to make. So he's all confused (and we are too) and then says that they'll make the order right then. Like...what was the point of ordering it earlier if it wasn't even made or ready? And then they're not sure what they were supposed to make? Makes no sense. Anyways, not ordering from this place again and I'll let my family and friends know there's other better places to pick up food from.

4 stars for good food consistency. As far as price consistency, not so much lol. And I'm not talking about inflation, unless the price of their roast pork inflated from the walk over to the register from the chopping station. Basically, at the chopping station my pork was weighed, was told it would be $16.25. Even was asked "$16.25 okay?" I looked at the scale to confirm, and was like yup. But when I was rung up at the register, I was charged $17.25 plus tax. Food still tasted good as I remember so whatever, that extra dollar can just be the automatic tip I guess. Well here's my tip for first timers: make sure to check how much you get at the chopping station vs how much you're charged at the register. Unless you don't mind having a tip added for you. Anyways, still the best roast pork and char siu on the Windward side.

Love this hole in the wall! I've gotten the won ton green onion ginger sauce noodles and it's a bit salty but really tasty. I recent tried it's four choices plate lunch, I love that the wait is fairly short and the food is hot and tasty. The chow fun is soft, green beans and egg fuyoung were tasty and not too oily, and the stuffed tofu was a treat that I've hardly found at these types of make your own plate Chinese places. The eggplant was a little sweet but I still ate it. I also liked the$1 gau gee and pork hash. The steamed manapua at about $2 each were a little doughy but large. Nice treats at good prices!!

Ran into this place as a last resort since the restaurant I usually go to was closed. We ordered Won Ton Mein and it's was really like eating the old time recipe. We live in town and all my go to Chinese Restaurants have either closed or just not delicious anymore. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes,!
