This restaurant is conveniently located at Windward City on the Starbucks end of the shopping center and has a lot of parking, it was a rainy day today and I was craving some nice warm soup. My father and I decided to try their won ton mein for the first time. It was excellent! It was so good, I dove right in and forgot to take a photo of my won ton mein! We got it to go. 4 stars for good food consistency. As far as price consistency, not so much lol. And I'm not talking about inflation, unless the price of their roast pork inflated from the walk over to the register from the chopping station. Basically, at the chopping station my pork was weighed, was told it would be $16.25. Even was asked "$16.25 okay?" I looked at the scale to confirm, and was like yup. Down home Chinese fast food. I’m no expert on what qualifies as “authentic Chinese” but this certainly did not feel like Americanized Chinese food. We ate Jai, egg fooyun, with white rice. Very tasty. The server was energetic and entertaining while making helpful recommendations.Vegetarian options: No vegan options, but three vegetarian options. Definitely has the fast food tendency to be a bit heavy on the oil, but still quite good.
