“I enjoyed staying at Halepuna Waikīkī by Halekulani. Everything was perfect during our stay with my sister. 3 elevators in the lobby so you never wait. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. Not far from the beach for about less 5 minutes. The staff is very kind and professional. I recommend that chic hotel for everything 💙“

“It’s great to be back at Zippy’s again after being away from Hawaii for so long. This restaurant is clean, well-maintained and staffed with friendly servers. The hot saimin was wonderful, a reminder of those carefree days long ago. My companions loved their Korean chicken chili, zip pac deluxe and beef stew. After dining out at fancy eateries everyday during this visit, it’s refreshing to return to simple, unpretentious comfort food.“

“For those that don't know and especially people who don't live here in Hawaii or are familiar with Asian style desserts, this place offers some popular items that Japanese bakeries that are European inspired offer and more. Now this is not my first choice of pastries or confections to satisfy my sweet tooth, but when in the mood, it fits the bill. Asian style dessert shops and in particular the Japanese and Chinese ones do their own take on European style treats. They tend to look very impressive with their colorful and creative creations, but are very light and airy along with not much on flavor in terms of intensity. Perfect for tea I guess, but I like real bakery items and strong flavors most of the time. Kulu Kulu offers lots of assorted treats that are great for an individual indulgence or to be shared. What's nice is they also offer soft serve ice cream as well as coffee and bubble team drinks to add to your sugar rush. It is great for kids because some of their pastries offer cute decorations on top of their creations. If you plan on going their frequently, be sure to get a stamp card so you can get some freebies down the road.“

“Honu bakery has an ono bread. It is called the Honu bread (what they are known for). I like it with coffee or tea for breakfast or just a quick snack. The bread has a light whipped cream with rasins for a filling. It has a very light sweet taste. The only disappointment was the oreo sliced cake. It tasted like plastic. Please try the honu bread. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful when I made a pick up order.“
