Great stop for local food when driving around the island to explore the many beautiful beaches.
Beef luau, laulau, kalua pig was delicious! Look the savory which the leafy aroma flavor. We also enjoy the chicken long rice soup, but this was a sample cup and not a full serving tobe able to rate.
Awa drink tastes like dirt as the server described. Poi is not our thing, didn’t mind the texture but the would be interesting if this had more taro and sweet taste, would be more like taro mochi and fill it with ice cream. Now that would be good! Our family agree that we didn’t like the lomi salmon, it was a bit fishy for us.
Overall happy and would recommend to stop by. Service was nice, take out style, but don’t expect much but feel like a local eating outside, street side!
I usually love this place, only giving two stars because I preordered pa’i’ai, drove all the way from Kapolei to pick it up, and when I got there, they said they didn’t didn’t make enough (although I preordered and they confirmed they had enough that morning).
