The fish tacos were amazing. I’m usually not a fan of ahi tuna, but this was perfectly prepared. Light, fresh, filling, and it tasted wonderful.

There’s something about sitting at a picnic bench, hearing the waves in the background while eating fresh fish, that captures what Hawaii — and Kauai in particular — is all about. It feels less like a meal and more like a culinary expression of the island itself.

Al Pastor came recommended to us in a few conversations with other travelers, so we had to check it out. Fish tacos and garlic shrimp tacos were amazing and fresh. Great price for the portions. My only advice - go early before they sell out and they are closed on Monday.

Fresh, hot & friendly service! Fish tacos were nice as came with side of rice, beans & small dollop of guacamole. The sauce was nice but needed another kick - maybe a salsa of some sort. Good portions!
