“Kauai Sushi Station is serving some of the freshest sushi available anywhere. This is what I look for in a Sushi restaurant. The rolls aren’t covered in sauces and sugar it’s fresh and natural ingredients. I used to dread coming to Lihue now I can’t wait. I know exactly what I want and no matter what I get it’s fresh and natural and so tasty. I almost always order the Hamachi - Yellowtail with Jalapeño. Next up I order a roll or two and a bunch of the 2 piece orders of sushi like Tuna, Tobiko, Unagi, Salmon, ikura, uni. The staff is so friendly they always remember my favorites. Their miso soup is a perfect little pick me up while you wait for your order. Mahalo. ?“
“Best poke we’ve had in Kauai - the selection was incredibly impressive and extensive. Hokkigai, raw crab, kimchi tako, ahi…so good. They also offer sushi and cute inari filled pockets. Butter mochi was delicious as was the pork lau lau. You dont see this place on a lot of tourist guides - it’s a local favourite and we are so glad we stumbled upon it!“
“Staff were so great, you can't help but want them so succeed. The sushi was among the best I've ever had. We also loved the small, laid back feel of the restaurant that was comfortable but not even remotely pretentious. Gotta love their logo - I had to buy a t-shirt.“

“The “Spicy T” roll was everything! So yummy. And the yum yum sauce was so good. The burritos were a great size and so were the rolls. Prices were pretty reasonable considering the food is local and organic. Loved it! Def order ahead tho if you’re in a hurry because there will most likely be a wait in person.“
“We had our Kintaro dinner last night. Everything was amazing! The drinks, the famous Kim family's won ton's, Kaua'i's best since the 1960's, incredible tako cucumber salad was so fresh, the triple sashimi, teriyaki beef skewer, chicken skewer, rock & roll sushi roll and shrimp tempura. The service is always outstanding and the attention to detail in their food shines. The ambiance is modern and welcoming. Highly recommend Kintaro restaurant to anyone looking for fresh authentic Japanese cuisine!“
