Incredibly fresh and hands down the best sushi on the island. Every piece was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and you can truly taste the quality of the fish. The presentation was impressive, the service was great, and the whole experience felt top-tier from start to finish. Highly recommend — easy 10/10.
Superb views, gentle live music perfect for Valentines Day. Super fresh seafood, attractively served. Great sushi and sashimi selection. Waitstaff had difficulties coping with totally full restaurant, but chief hostess came by several times to apologize and ask for patience. Views, ambiance, Food definitely deserved the wait!
Probably some of the best sushi I've had. I recommend the cosmopolitan. We were surprised it wasn't crowded. We are planning to eat there again tonight.

The Royal Lanai offers fresh and delicious sushi with an amazing and awesome view. The setting overlooks the most beautiful pool in Kauai, Kalipaki Bay, and the mountains beyond, providing a super relaxing vibe with all outdoor seating. Guests can enjoy dishes like delicious sashi, maduro nigiri, maki rolls, a spicy tempura shrimp roll, and Miso soup. The menu also includes a California roll made with real crab, Hamachi Kama, a spicy tuna roll, and a divine chef special. Service is great and friendly, though it can be slow at times. The ambiance is perfect, whether seated on a private lanai, at the counter watching the chefs, or in the walkway with a great view of the beach and bay at sunset. It is highly recommended.
