Just bought the peach pie from longs drug store last night wow the best pie I ever had no joke can't believe how good this pie is blue ribbons all the way. nobody can beat it.and I know my stuff about pastry. I know out standing when I taste it. Awesome will visit when I come to the big island. It's a must let everyone know about this place. Wow.
Love love love their buttered crust peach pie! You canʻt buy their pies from their bakery, though, so go to the local stores that carry them. Buy local!
Incredible crust! I love their peach ?
Best crust on a pie I've ever had. They're sold frozen at many local stores state wide.Be advised that these are NOT fresh fruit pies. You might think they are due to the price but it's not. Even saying that they are still wicked good.I believe the Hawaiian Pie company is run by the same family so if you're on Oahu you can get a freshly baked pie from them.As mentioned below they do not take drive up business but I have no idea why you would want to drive out to the shop to buy a frozen pie that you can get at a whole bunch of stores. Must be hard headed or something.
They no longer take drive up orders. You have to go to a local grocery, KTA or Safeway to get their pies.
Flaky, melt in your mouth and simply delicious pies
It was always a tradition in my family to get their pumpkin pies for the holidays and would wait for them at KTA in Hilo when they brought them out!!!... LOVE your pies!!..
The pies are to die and go to heaven for.....Oh....My...Gosh!!!!!!! I bought the last frozen Buttered Peach Pie from Mililani Mauka Longs Drugs and we ate it all... I told our manager Russell to order more of the pies...
I've recommended these pies to off island family members for years. My big concern is company not responding to an email or message regarding damaged purchased pies. It has happened on several occasions that I've purchase damaged pies. Wouldn't be a big concern if it was a cheap pie, but we pay good money for these pies. Don't get me wrong because these pies are amazing, but I'd like management to address the concern with these damaged pies. I'm not sure that it's happening in the stores because the boxes are not damaged on the outside. Just pies damaged on the inside of box with filling all in the box and not in pan or pan is smashed, like it was dropped on its side (box not damaged) and filling missing from inside pan.
Best apple pie ever. I'm so spoiled and there's none here in Vegas. You should consider canning your pie filling so those of us that can't get it can have some of it far away. Do you ship?

I just had the peach pie, bought from the frozen section at KTA and heated for one hour in the oven. Soooooo gooood!!!!
Once i had a slice 20 or so years ago, its my very favorite pie. Hands down its the best pie in the world! No one can make a pie like Holy's. Because you can take it home and bake adds to the whole experience of eating a hot slice of pie with melting vanilla icecream. It's definitely a warm fuzzy delicious experience.
Holy's Bakery is a Hawaii landmark! They have the absolute hands down BEST pies!!! They will never be duplicated or imitated. I grew up across the bakery and to this day reminisce of the smells of fresh baked goodies. Family owned and operated and so happy to know that Jami has taken on the tradition of keeping the family bakery going strong!!! Kapaau No Ka Oi!!!
The coconut pie wuz ono. Bought my pie at the headquarters in Hawi. Although the Apple wuz also ono it came out soggy. But in both cases the crust was buttery and well made. Support the local biz.
I bought a frozen peach pie from Holy's today at the Safeway in Kailua. It cost $18 and was one of the worst pies I have ever had. The peaches must have been canned. It was all syrup and made an absolute mess in my oven, even with a pan underneath it. I will never buy another one. Still looking for a good peach pie!
