After conquering the long hike of the Pololu Valley, we stumbled upon this restaurant and it was a perfect. The portions were generous, exactly what our tired bodies craved. I opted for the garlic shrimp, and oh boy, it was a flavor explosion! I've never had that much garlic in one meal, but it was cooked to perfection. A must-try for anyone in the area!
Great value and the portions are good. This is a great place for a quick inexpensive meal no inside dining and dishes all are in take out boxes. Definitely not fine dining but good flavor.

It's been awhile since I've gone to an L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, so needless to say, I was pretty stoked to get a meal. The restaurant is hard to miss, as it's painted in bright, tropical colors; but that definitely fits the vibe I assume they're going for.
