Good food but they'll get your order wrong. The guy that was before us had to come back also because they didn't do his order right. They said they didn't but the receipt said they did. We order a BBQ Cheese burger Deluxe. Got home and all we had was a cheese burger with no other topping besides meat and cheese.

food ok (the oil was old and affected my chicken katsu) ... pattio is really nice to sit on a eat while watching passersby. I'll give food another shot, probably something grilled this time ?

Stopped by for a snack and bathroom stop during my long drive. They serve a decent meal here. The garlic shrimp was very garlicky indeed The loco Moco Patty was definitely pre-processed, but the egg and gravy were fine. Ate my Bento on the picnic benches outside and used the clean bathroom. Workers from China were friendly.

Great food, generous portions, good service seats on the porch.
It's been awhile since I've gone to an L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, so needless to say, I was pretty stoked to get a meal. The restaurant is hard to miss, as it's painted in bright, tropical colors; but that definitely fits the vibe I assume they're going for. There's lots of outdoor seating on the deck and it was easy to find a good spot in the corner that overlooks the main drag. As for the most important part, the food, it didn't disappoint. For a little over $12 (I ordered brown rice instead of white, so I was charged 50 cents more), I got a pretty serious heap of BBQ chicken, salad, and the aforementioned rice. All of it was fresh and delicious, and because of the quantity, I had to take some of it home (I don't usually do that). The only issue was that the lady that originally took our order had a difficult time understanding what we wanted, but that's not a deal breaker because, whom I assume was the manager, stepped in and got our order punched in correctly. Overall, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is an incredible bang for your buck, so don't hesitate to pay them a visit if you are ever in town.

The cook should wear a hairnet. There was a black hair in my spicy chicken meal. Almost puked.

After conquering the long hike of the Pololu Valley, we stumbled upon this restaurant and it was a perfect. The portions were generous, exactly what our tired bodies craved. I opted for the garlic shrimp, and oh boy, it was a flavor explosion! I've never had that much garlic in one meal, but it was cooked to perfection. A must-try for anyone in the area!
