Such a wonderful dining experience! Friendly and courteous service and delicious food. We had the 5 course prefix meal. Oh my!!!! From the choice of Prosecco to the perfect portion sizes to the quality of each ingredient in each course , we were impressed and dazzled! The buratta with pears was absolutely amazing as was the seafood salad, the short rib lasagna and prawns aka vodka sauce. I am Italian and know good Italian food but this was so special!! Such a find!

Our family of four had a nice time, but none of us were wowed by the food. It lacked freshness and inspiration. Steak bruschetta was cold & overcooked leftover steak. Pasta was not fresh. Overall not awful, but we've had better food for far less.

First of all I have to say the food was outstanding, the service was outstanding, and ambience was great, not noisy, Nico the live musician was fantastic, and loved the wine selection. It was a fantastic evening. However I have a big recommendation for the owners, change your menu to not only offer 4 or 5 course meal to be ala carte. Again all the dishes were outstanding, but we watched at least 3 tables come in, look at the menu and leave. Not everyone needs a big meal nor wants to pay that much per person. Second comment on the fixed menu, even the 4 course was more food than I would traditionally eat for a dinner so I left stuffed. I am pretty confident that you would get more people in the restaurant because they could find one of two things on the menu that they want...not 4 or 5 dishes. I read the other comments here on Open Table, so I am no sure why you are holding your ground and keeping with the fixed menu. While we throughly enjoyed our meal...I don't think I would come back just because I don't need that much food and being forced into a 4 or 5 course meal. Listen to the feedback of your customers...change the menu to offer both fixed price and ala carte.

We visited last year and fell in love with the food and service. This visit was a miss for us. Food was mediocre at best. Maybe they are trying to find their way but having a prix fixed menu with terrible food didn't work for us. Best of luck to the restaurant.

we spent $410 for 3 persons...its just too much for a strip center average restaurant. you can nor spent that kind of money in the best Italian restaurant in New York. kind of ridiculous!

The food was delicious, beautifully presented but the value of a fixed price 4 or 5 course meal was just not for me. I assumed there were other options however no ala cart options. I would recommend others for the quality of food and only if it was ala cart. We've enjoyed this restaurant for years as we live in Maui. We supported it during covid. No kamaaina rate either.

We were told we definitely needed a reservation so we made one. We received a msg. asking us to arrive sooner as our table was ready. When we arrived - we were asked to choose where we wanted to sit ~ at a bar height table or a dining table - reservation definitely not needed. The server who brought us water didn't say a word or even smile - we weren't made to feel welcome at all. This was a prix fix menu - starting with burrata. We noticed that other tables were getting much larger portions of burrata than we received. We didn't mind too much as it wasn't that good. When wait staff brought our meals, they didn't know who had ordered what - it felt more like a cafeteria than an upscale restaurant. I was also asked to keep my flatware vs. being brought fresh between courses. We also noticed that other people were receiving much more generous servings of wine (which, by the way, were only identified by grape vs. wine maker). All in all, very disappointing vs. what we were looking forward to!

Portions small and somewhat over-priced. Two unopened clams were in the small potion of spaghetti, which is a HUGE red flag for serving any type of clams. If it's not opened, it's a bad clam and a first year culinary student or short order cook would know that. The hostess was very pleasant, but spent most of our stay speaking and laughing with one couple. Our first server never returned after writing down our order and other two servers only surfaced to remove empty plates. This is a one and done tourist spot, guessing the locals do not frequent.

A week on Maui and this was the best. From Morris (manager owner?) intro and suggestions to a wonderful care experience by Erin (wait person) it is now a MUST go every time on Maui. The 4 or 5 course menu is absolutely a perfect fine dining experience by all standards. We loved the bruschetta done several ways, second salad course was probably where we should have stopped due to almost full but thankfully we continued onto the primi- a vegetarian spaghetti for me and a clam seafood special. The house wines were perfect though next time we will indulge in their giant bottle import list for sure. Coffee was awesome and the large dopio I've ever been served. Be sure to make reservations. And one final praise: the electric guitar live music was really pleasant in the background and much appreciated as an extra pleasure.

Always a fun evening at the Pour House! Missed seeing Morris! We had the four course meal and it was really good. Old Fashioned and a glass of wine wife had the four course and a glass of wine. Always look forward eating at Pour House multiple times during month long stay! Thanks for great food in a fun atmosphere

Food and service excellent however having a fixed menu at a higher price is not appealing. At $90 per meal the portions could have been larger. We hope they will return to their standard menu.

plenty of choices on the two fixed price 4 or 5 course dinners, including for my celiac compromised wife! From first to last course every bite was excellent...served immediately after preparation so it was exactly 'as the chef intended! The Gnocchi was exceptional, the polenta and vegetables melted in your mouth, while the Bolognese sauce and pasta wasn't runny or overly firm, just the perfect and flavourful in-between! The time spent with our host was a extra bonus and many cooking secrets were revealed and explained...not that I can do it, but we did rebook for only 6 nights from today....can't wait to come back! The background musician was really good as well and played a wonderful mix of jazz to modern pop.....a real character as well!

This is our second time eating at The Pour House, the food is fabulous. We had the five course prefix meal and could not have been happier. We have had several prefix meals and this by far was our favorite. The service is fabulous, the ambiance wonderful, and we can't wait to go back.

Fabulous experience again! The flavors were just incredible from the lovely thyme lemon salad dressing to the always perfect burrata to the WOW short rib lasagna and polenta bolognese!! We could NOT have been happier. Just wonderful. Considering the difficulty after the Lahaina fires to find help, Pour House has done a fabulous job of finding lovely, attentive servers. At this stage of a hard ongoing recovery, I completely understand the prix fix menu and thought the price point was VERY fair. Thank you all for a wonderful night. Always a MUST on our visits to Maui.
