“Been coming for years (2003). Love love love this Ritz. Everything is spectacular from the moment you valet to the beach.

However, this year was the first time I questioned if the staff in lounge are going through the motions without the ladies and gentlemen credo in their hearts. Seemed like they're demotivated. Hope I'm wrong and this is just an off night.”

“The luau was well done. The pre-show experience was top notch, with professional photography and games/tattoo’s to create some fun and learning. The food was excellent, and the open bar offering top shelf liquor was appreciated. The food options were plentiful and the performance of the luau boasted a beautiful story with excellent dancers/performers. The indoor space was beautiful, but a more outdoor/transitional space is what I commonly associate with a luau so that was the only drawback to the whole experience. Overall, the event was really nicely done and the whole family enjoyed.”

“My husband and I had a wonderful Omakase experience at Takumi Maui. The chef and staff were very kind and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. And the ambiance of the restaurant is fresh, clean and authentic. I cannot wait to go back!”

“Great Food, But Way Too Loud The food and service were both excellent — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the live band playing downstairs was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation and had to keep asking our server to repeat himself. Two nearby tables left because of the noise. If you're hoping for a peaceful early dinner, skip the 4:30 PM time during happy hour music. Great restaurant, but the volume ruined the vibe.”

“My wife has a gluten allergy and is vegan, making it challenging to find suitable dining options when we travel. However, during our recent trip to Maui, we were fortunate to discover several excellent establishments, and A`A Roots stood out with its incredible food. My wife particularly enjoyed a sandwich, describing it as the best she's ever had. She was very pleased with both the service and the food. The chickpea burger and salad were very, very good.”

“10/10!! On everything! The line was a little long but it flew by pretty quickly. The view was amazing, the service was even better BUT the FOOOD!!! oh my goodness!! And the price threw everything over!! It was great!! We ordered the fried rice (smaller plate) and two pancakes and it was perfect for 2. For sure try the pineapple pancake with the speciality locally made coconut syrup, and the chocolate macadamia nut pancakes. Will for sure return if we ever return back to Maui!!”

“I am a longtime customer at Naplil Coffee Store and I highly recommend them. Their coffee is superb. They make the best lattes on the island and they have wonderful bakery goods. My favorite is the blueberry muffin and the almond Joy cookies. They also have a wonderful quiche, either bacon or veggie and goes along great with your coffee. They get five stars from me every time.”

“Best hotel in Maui. They provide unlimited spa access unlike four seasons and Ritz, and location is perfect for snorkeling and paddle boarding . Turtles and seals are often visible from the beach . Not as many restaurants at other properties but the property itself is immaculate and leaves nothing to be desired .”
