California Pizza Kitchen at Ka Makana Ali’i

Waited 23 mins for a table (told us 20-25, so not bad). Took another 22 minutes before the server came to take drinks/appetizers orders. For a simple tea and water (12 minutes, asked for three glasses of water).Took another 17 minutes for drinks from bar, in the mean time appetizers came (two were cold in the center, sent back...came back burn around the edges). No plates, no bread and still no water (another two glasses after 20 more minutes). We watched our server go to multiple tables in the next 30 minutes take food/drink orders and they getting their main meals whybwe still were ignored. Finally after being there at the table over an hour, he comes and asks if we were ready to order dinner. Told him that 40 minutes ago, even 20 we would have, but now we want our bill. We paid cash (62.00 + 3.00 tip). Told the manager on our way out how very disappointed we were in the service and the fact they had the nerve to charge us full prince for wasting our time was unbelievable. Lesson learn, never will we eat at CPK, maybe one family being treated like crap, don't matter....but it should.

Love the atmosphere and art in this establishment. We have been here a few times and it’s been good enough for us to return but tonight we left hungry and disappointed- the food portions were so incredibly small (like a child’s portion) and so were the mixed drinks. None of it was worth the price.
One of our mixed drinks wasn’t put in until we waited almost 30 min and brought it up to the server who forgot to put it in. My husbands meal was put in incorrectly put in so he had to wait another 20 min after our food arrived to get a completely flavorless pasta (literally, no flavor not even salt) . My scampi tasted like sour lemon water with no seasoning. To end it all our card was left in a book up at the computer while the server continued to make drinks and take care of other guests. We do not go out to eat a lot. We like to go out as a treat.. We definitely would not go back to this location. Disappointing.

The pizza was not good. Almost no sauce, toppings sliced so thin they were transparent, crust was tough and flavorless and soggy in the center.

We went here 2 nights in a row this past weekend. The food was great the first night but the service was lacking very much. The second night we took the family, food was still great, service was a bit better. I've come to the conclusion that it wasn't so much the servers who were at fault but perhaps the kitchen. The wait times for our food was ridiculously long.

Kapolei CPK was our favorite restaurant at Ka Makana Alii but not anymore. It took 2 hours from the time I ordered my food which was 2 Garlic Fettuccine Alfredo pastas (our go to pasta for years) and a butter cake dessert to be delivered by CPK’s 3rd party company UBER. CPK failed to give me any utensils in which I specifically asked for and they also forgot the bread I had requested (again). It seems CPK threw my food in a bag and left it to sit for hours. To my surprise both pasta’s tasted horrible. No flavor and very bland. Could not see or taste any garlic in the pasta with barely any chicken or mushroom in which we paid extra for it. The pasta was also cold (of course it being 2 hours later) and even my 10 year old also complained of the taste and temperature of the food. We spent a total of $79.10 for both pastas and their butter cake dessert which also was missing toppings. I can’t even explain how many times Kapolei CPK forgot utensils/bread but I gave them chances over and over only to have worse outcomes with their quality of food and poor customer service. We will never dine or order food from this establishment ever again.

Hostess wasn't really friendly. She just didn't care at all to any of her customers. Our waitress on the other hand was extremely friendly and served us well. Food was good. Besides the hostess, it was a nice place for lunch.

I don’t understand why we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated on a Wednesday 1:30pm?! The place was maybe 60% full and we had to wait?! They didn’t look short staffed either, I saw at least 5 wait staff.

Great and friendly service by Amber. Love the shrimp and zucchini dish plus the take and bake pizza for $11 is a great deal. Best pizza with generous toppings.
Also the passion Mango tea is another of my favorite!
