The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best Japanese BBQ experiences I’ve had. Everything was high quality and full of flavor. On top of that, Leah was an amazing server, so attentive, kind, and just really good at what she does. She made the whole experience even better. Great food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back, this will be my new Japanese bbq spot. Thank you.
Skirt stake is amazing!!!!!!!
We love eating here, we visit Hawaii every year and look forward to it. We also visited the one in Vanc BC.
The only thing I don't like is the rewards expire before we get to visit Hawaii again.
So; we went around 2:30, restaurant was basically empty. We were told there was a 30-45 minute wait. In a Saturday; with a basically empty restaurant.
I enjoyed the steak, garlic rice, shisito peppers....
Been here a few time. Good food.
First time and a fun experience. Definitely will be back. Great lunch deal. Family friendly. Lots of choices.

This place looked so promising from the outside. I ordered the crispy shrimp garlic noodles. The picture on the menu had big whole shrimp but when I received my dish, it was maybe 2 shrimp cut up into tiny little pieces. This is so off putting. Everything just seemed so grimy and greasy (tables, chairs, etc) and the bathroom was just filthy. Will not be returning.

The food, service, and atmosphere were ok. The reason I am giving this place a one star is because when I asked for a drink it came in a glass that had black stuff floating at the top of it. I didn’t notice it until I offered it to my wife who told me about it. I had already had a few sips. The next day, I have been in sever stomach pain.

Restaurantji Recommends
We had a party of over 50 to celebrate our mothers passing and chose this restaurant to host us. Notified restaurant week in advance and the service the food was so so bad that we had to wait so long for food and service. When we ordered the ribeye it looked like little discarded pieces of meat!!!!!!! The burners were not all working so we had to share the burners with 8 to 10 ppl on a table. 2 Small rice bowls were served to a table of 10 and we were expected to share that!!!!!! Wtheck
I don’t recommend this place for large parties or even smaller parties. Service really really slow. Cuts of meat is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Conceptually it's a good idea to have a diverse menu such as BBQ and Ramen without a hot pot option. Until your party orders an all u can eat BBQ option and the other Ramen. Restriction #1. Everyone at the table has to order BBQ. BTW, the server announces, she then proceeds to list all of the items that were not available in the all u can eat BBQ. Restriction #2 For the 1st restriction. Its understood the rationale that the other "Ramen" person may lean over and partake in the all u can eat. The amount of restrictions and rules at this restaurant in the end is a hindrance to a diner's experience. Restriction #3 You can order the lunch BBQ options that comes with 2 meats each at 3.5 oz, which by the way includes the weight of marinated meat, so its 2 oz of meat. If you want a certain type of meat, its $3 upgrade. Restriction #4 If you want more rice its $1.50 upgrade. Ordered a side of Gyoza dumplings, Restriction #5, use the Ponzu sauce at the table there is no sauce that accompanies the gyoza. In addition, the Time limits to eat, portion control amounts, upgrades, extra cents for sauces. There are too many bbq chains in Oahu to burden your dining experience to remember the rules and guidelines. Live, eat, and in peace, do yourself a favor go somewhere that welcome customers without a handbook of rules.
The food was amazing and our server was excellent he was super helpful and brought us everything we needed. Also explained everything and the different types of meats and sauces! 10/10 would dine again
Fun cooking dinner on the tabletop hibachi! Short ribs were delicious and the deep fried calamari with tater sauce was very good. We went for happy hour so the prices were reasonable.
The service was really bad. Waitress was not interested. It seemed like she did not want to be there. She did not explain anything to us. The food was below average. The restaurant looked filthy! The whole experience was an absolute disappointment! We regret going there and won't go there again.
