Great service amazing milk shake and a wide variety of flavors!

I've had Magnolia Ice Cream from the freezer section of Asian supermarkets but I found out they had a store front in Hawaii via Yelp! Hubby and I went to check it out one night at around 8 PM on a Sunday. It was empty at that time because I'm sure not a lot of people are out getting ice cream that late on a Sunday night.

They have a whole Halo Halo menu. We went with the Buko Pandan (buko pandan jelly, macapuno (coconut strings) nata de coco (coconut gel), topped with a scoop of pandan ice cream, and crispy rice. I wish there wasn't so much ice. There was an option to get it without the condensed milk, which we did so that it wouldn't be too sweet. But we regretted that decision afterwards because the shave ice needed it. It could have also used an extra scoop of ice cream. We ordered the original size but it seems like all sizes only come with one scoop of ice cream. They also had a lot of flavors listed on the menu that they didn't actually have. Not sure when they opened but it seemed pretty recently (as of October 2025) so maybe they're still working out the kinks.

For now, I would just stick the the ice cream flavors that you can't find in stores. I will say that the staff was very nice and they were happy to let us sample a few flavors before we ordered. I'm hoping next time they'll have the complete set of flavors.

I was looking forward to shaved ice and they did not disappoint. I got pineapple, coconut, and lemon, lime with the secret Hawaiian sauce, which I’m guessing is condensed milk and coconut milk. We were also able to try some local favorites when was a corn and queso, which I was not a fan of but I am told is a best seller in the area so recommend trying it.

Just not good. We got the halo halo and some shaved ice. No where to sit. Expensive. And just disappointing.

We have enjoy Halo Halo during our vacation 2 weeks ago in Honolulu.
I order Halo Halo with a request of not so much sweet and Tyra ( services girl) made it perfect. Thank you so much.

We were super excited to get ice cream from Magnolia. They were out of Kona macadamia, so we got scoops of mango and ube. I also got some halo halo, that was to die for ❤️. The ube ice cream was the best I’ve ever had.

I’m new to Hawaii so when I got ice cream here, my family was flabbergasted seeing all the unique flavors!
I got the corn and cheese ice cream, my son got the ube, and my wife got the halo halo and we all loved it. Definitely recommend and will come back soon.

Not a big place, alright pricing. Food can do better. Service was good, very popular waiting to watch movies or while waiting for your movie next to the theater.

I love walking into an ice cream shop and seeing the bright, assorted colors of the ice cream on display, but I didn’t get that experience this time. All the ice cream was in the back and not ready to be displayed, which was a bit of a letdown.
On the bright side, the halo-halo was great and helped to make up for the experience.
