I ordered coffee and apple pie at the drive-thru using an app.When I opened the bag at work, it was a holiday pie. Why is that.When I reluctantly took a bite, the crust was soggy and tasteless.Later, I had it replaced with an apple pie.Mac's apple pie is the best because it's fried.But the pies here are expensive. There are some stores that are a little cheaper.

McDonald's Kapolei located in the same mall as Chili's and Longs Drugs. An old time favorite from the very first store in Aina Haina till now. Their iconic sandwiches like the Egg McMuffin, Big Mac, Filet O Fish, and the Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers. Everything except the standard hamburger and cheeseburgers were created by their owner operators. Hawaii created its own icons like the Saimin, Portuguese Sausage Eggs and Rice, or Spam Eggs and Rice. The stores are going through a refreshing change. Updating their dining rooms and kitchens. When you have to have a Hamburger stop on by for some affordable food.

Soooo..... I ordered my food at 9:56.....it is now 1013.... and I am still waiting! Brought my kids to this same one a week ago and it took 25 minutes to get our food from inside! This time I did drive thru and they told me to park out front and wait..... ?? still waiting. Let's bet my food will be cold when I do finally get it. They are ?

Too expensive ! Just for a quarter pounder with cheese meal is $12 but the sandwich is $6 ! OMG !

Why is it that the two McDonald's locations in Kapolei charges $3.40 more for a Quarter Pounder w/cheese meal than the McDonald's in Waikele? That's highway robbery! Never going to a McDonald's in Kapolei again.

Customer service is not good, the microphone on the drive through is horrible. I had to ask them to repeat what they said several times and I was not being rude at all. One thing that was very annoying was they gave me fruit punch in a cup that had a hole in it and I noticed it only until I got home. Guys/Girls if you know that the cup is not good, wouldn't you rather have someone take an extra 25 seconds to pour in another cup to ensure there is customer satisfaction? So my kitchen counter was fruit punch on it and I immediately put the cup in my kitchen counter and put the fruit punch in another cup of mine.
Kalani was rude as heck. Today I made 2 orders he was offensive towards me and just plain rude. Got both of my orders wrong too.

Ordered and paid through app, staff tried to overcharge me an extra meal. Luckily I caught the error and after several attempts to explain the issue got a refund. Check your receipts if you use the app. Better and cheaper to drive to the one by Don Quijote in Waipahu.

It is McDonald's so I expect McDonald's not a fancy food, I accept it. What I can't accept is the nuggets in kids meal so spicy that my mouth was burning (I tried it after my poor kiddo was crying, complaining how spicy it was). It was horrible. If it is somebody's idea of a joke, do me a favor and find another fun thing to do!! It was sooo horrible.
